The hotel is average, which is to be expected with the price. However, the customer service was extremely poor, we only got 2 pillows in our room and were advised it was impossible to get any extra. There was also a rather dodgy stain of unknown origin next to the bed (which we tried our best to ignore).

If you need a no-nonsense place to lay your head then it's perfectly adequate, but don't expect any additional benefits.

Stayed here last night on a stopover in Dublin. Our room 607 was a nice size with a double and single bed and was clean, as was the bathroom. We slept well, noise was minimal. However the breakfast was appalling, the orange juice was so watered down it resembled diluted orange, the mushrooms and scrambled egg was in edible. In all I would stay again but never again get the breakfast.

We booked this hotel for one night, when Eminem was performing in Slane.
I had purposely booked early check-in as the concert started early, and was greeted quite rudely at check-in. The receptionist was very dismissive until I explained we had booked early check-in. She changed her attitude abruptly, but had very little in the way of customer service skills.

Our room was nice, although the duvet was too short to fit the width of the bed. Our TV channels did not match the hotel information booklet and some were missing.
The room was clean and perfect for what we needed it for, which was to sleep. We both had a very good night's sleep.

We had also booked breakfast for the next morning. It was a buffet, but the majority of it was cold.

Transport from the city to Parkwest after 12am is non existent; we had to pay close to €20 for a taxi. Transport on Sunday back to Dublin city was also awkward. We had to wait 2 hours for a train and EVERYTHING (including their only shop, Spar) is closed on the weekends, so there is nowhere to go to wait for the train or bus, other than the hotel.

It was cheap (double room, early check in and breakfast for €100) and had everything we needed for one night. However, I would not stay here again, as it cost us more in travelling costs than should have been necessary and the general running of the hotel was a bit off.

Room Tip: We weren't even asked if we would prefer a smoking or non smoking room, so you really don't get a choice.

We had cause to stay overnight in Dublin and needed accommodation in the West side. This hotel fitted the bill completely.

Not alone was it very good value for money, but we were pleased to be able to have a very tasty bar snack even after the kitchen had closed and we did not have to settle for pizza (which is the only food on the bar menu!).

In addition, since our departure time was scheduled for later than check-out, we were able to leave our luggage in the Reception area.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a clean bed for the night with no aspirations for a scenic location or a place filled with 'character'.

Stayed here for two nights with my son as we were going to see Eminem at Slane.
A little but out of the way and the view from the bedroom window terrible but that really is the only bad points.
The room was comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, replenished daily. Toothpaste/brushes and razor/shaving gel are available in travel packs from the reception free of charge but not ready in the room, you have to ask and collect them from reception.
There's a free shuttle bus that takes you into Dublin but you have to find your own way back. You can book a place on this at the reception.
The breakfast is good. The food very tasty. €10 for breakfast. We didn't have any other meals in the hotel.
We came back from the concert circa 12:30am and was pleased to be able to get a drink from the bar.
Free wifi and cabled Internet in the rooms and throughout the hotel.
Overall excellent stay.
