Hotel Anatoli is situated very much in the backstreets of Naxos Town. It is approximately 10 minutes walk (partially uphill) from the main bars, restaurants and seafront and is located in a residential area, away from any trappings of tourism.

The hotel itself is very pleasant, having a compact and clean pool area, marble reception, bar and breakfast areas and small but tasteful rooms. My double room was very compact indeed, with little storage, but the TV, fridge and air con made up for that. I also had a small balcony overlooking the pool area. The furnishings were modern and of high quality and the room was cleaned everyday.

The breakfast was fairly comprehensive for a greek buffet affair, with hot chocolate, cereals and scrambled egg! Much better than many of the breakfasts I had experienced in other hotels. The staff were very helpful, offering a free lift back to the port on departure day.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody who doesn't mind walking back to their accommodation from the beach (approx 15 mins to Agios Georgios) and evenings out, and who is looking for more refinement than a basic room offered at many of the other accommodations in the town.
