“Easter in Naxos at Villa Naxia Studios”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

We were greeted at the airport by a cab driver with our name on a card. The trip was short, maybe a few minutes. The owner greeted us at Villa Naxia and paid for the cab. My husband, daughter (5) and I stayed in a triple room named Zas. It was a minute walk to the beach (and beach club) through their property. The room was clean and towels changed every day. Fridge,Fridge, plates, glasses and a wine opener. On Easter, the owner brought us a Greek Easter basket with breads (yummmm) and dyed red eggs. We actually extended our stay two additional days because everything was so amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again the next time we visit.

We stayed at Villa Naxia Studios in July 2012
Nikos arranged for someone to meet as at the port and bring us to the hotel ( no charge) which was really good and one less thing for us to do. When we arrived Nikos gave us the run through with the way the hotel worked, some places to see and things to do. He is not allways there but he is contactable at all times via the phone in your room.

The studio we stayed in was a good size, the beds where 2 singles pushed together. Bathroom was clean and tidy although shower was a little small.. It was impossible to not get water all over bathroom floor which is a pet hate of mine but thats part of travelling.
The room also had Air Con and a Bar fridge. The balcony off the room was huge and facing the beach. We spent many a sunset out there just having a few drinks and relaxing.

The hotel is in a good location, beach is a stones throw away. Restaurants/Bars begin after about a 5min walk and continue on down to the marina which is a 15/20min walk from hotel.
Major supermarket only a 5min walk from hotel.

We hired a car for the day and drove around the island. We stopped at a few little towns ( which names escape me now) for a cool drink and lunch. It has such a different interior to the other greek islands which is really worth exploring.

We came from Ios where we experienced heavy winds and sadly it was the same when we arrived at Naxos. St Georges Beach which is infront of hotel was actually quiet exposed to this wind so it was very windswept with a lot of windchop and waves breaking in very shallow water not scary but not really relaxing so to speak. We completely understood prior to arriving this may happen in the Greek Islands at this time of year so we hired a scooter to drive around and try and find something "less exposed " to the strong wind. We then found Agios Prokopios Beach which was only a 5-10min ride away. The beach there was one of the best we have experienced. We went there everyday even after the wind stopped because we just loved it so much. The water was crystal clear and calm everyday, with many restaurants and a bakery right at the beachclub !!

We really enjoyed Villa Naxia studios and do not want to put anyone off going there due to something you cannot control. However we will return to Naxos one day but being "beach people" we would probably stay on the beach at Agios Prokopios only for the reason of location.

Perfect location - a short walk from Naxos town, and only 30 meters from the nice part of St George Beach - the part with a few but very good beach bars/restaurant. Easy parking just outside.
Perfect rooms , spotless and clean, large balcony with view to the sea and the sunset over Paros. WIFI at no cost
Perfect host: Nikos takes care of you in the very best way and has an answer to any question you may have. Free port or airport pickup.
We have stayed in Villa Naxia over many years, and we always come back. Last year 3 times, this year twice. Our grown-up children and their partners . the same.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, with excellent view to the beach and the sunset over Paros

We stayed here one week in july with 6 almost grown-up children. And as our 18 year old son said "When I get a girlfriend, I will definetely take her here. It's the most romantic place Ive been to."
The rooms are spacious, very clean, with the most beautiful view over the sea. Every room had a private terrace from which we could see the sun go down.
The owner is extremely helpful and he will do anything to help you. The taverna at the beach, just 30 or so metres away, have food much above the average bar food. Fresh, tasty, healthy (and unhealthy :) food for low prices. And the people working there, especially a young girl from Estonia (Lithuania?) should have a prize for being the most smiling, helping and servicing ever.
Overall - We cannot recommend this place enough. And it is the first time in my life I ever thought the thought that I might come back...

We recently stayed in these quiet apartments a few feet from St. George's beach in Naxia. The apartments are clean. The owner is exceptionally friendly. The air conditioning and wifi work. The location is superb, just a 10 minute walk from downtown and a one minute walk to the beach. The owner is exceptionally friendly. One can watch the sun rise from the front porches and the sunset from the back porches. We will come again.

For the rooms farthest from the office, the wifi only works on the porches.

Room Tip: They have some rooms that will accomodate 3/

We stayed here for 1 week in May. Villa Naxia well and truely lived up to the expectations raised by previous Trip Advisor reviews. Nikos collected us from the ferry and showed us around the villa, and pointed out (on the map) good restaurants to try. The location is perfect - footsteps to St Georges beach, and just a few mins on foot to town for restaurants, supermarket and bakery. A big thank you to Voula who cleaned our room to perfection every day, and changed the sheets and towels every other day. The studio was spacious with a medium size fridge and 2 electric rings, a good size bathroom, and a huge balcony with table, chairs and sun umbrella. The balcony was perfect for breakfast - fresh bread from bakery, local stawberries and yogurt, and farm fresh eggs, yum!! Also wonderful for evening pre dinner wine (or 2) watching the sunset. We hired a car and it was great not to have to navigate through the old town - access and parking were very simple. For the 35 Euro a night we paid for the room this was such great value. Thank you Nikos.

Room Tip: All looked good - but upstairs have better views at back

We stayed at Villa Naxia in June for 12 nights in 2010. The host Nikos was a brilliant host, the studios were kept spotlessly clean every day and we had room Dionysis which has a huge balcony facing the sea, which gets the sun all day and into the evening, we sat every night until the sun went down and got the most amazing sunset pictures... This accomodation is perfect for walking into Court Square and the waterfront in Naxos Town and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Naxos Town. We are staying with Nikos again later this year for more of his great hospitality. Nikos is a fountain of knowledge and will help you with any queries you may have and will also let you have his mobile number just in case you may need to contact him as he is not always on site at the studios. Would recommend this accomodation to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Most studios face the sea
