“BEST HOTEL WE STAYED AT DURING OUR 2 WEEKS IN GREECE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

Konstantino was a real sweet host who was amazing from beginning to end. His warm hospitality and kindness definitely made our stay extra special. The hotel was the best one we stayed at on our trip (9 hotels in total). We stayed in #206 and it was newly renovated, clean, VERY spacious, with beautiful modern bathroom and a super comfortable bed! The hotel has the features of a boutique hotel. The attention to detail like lighting votive candles in the hallway at night was a very nice touch. We would 100% stay there again and recommend this gem to our friends and fam. The breakfast was amazing, with wide selection and good coffee. Wifi worked well. We have absolutely no complaints! Thank you konstantino for making this a highlight of our trip.

We came here for the second time as we fell in love the first. I am very happy to say it didn't disappoint.
We were so well looked after and felt so at home that we are planning to return again next year too!!
Konstantinos and his parents are so wonderful and welcoming that you instantly feel like you are part of their family and nothing is too much trouble.
The accommodation is first class as is the breakfast.

I booked this hotel based on the reviews that I had read and we weren't disappointed. Kostas met us at the port and after arriving at the hotel he offered us a beverage while he told us everything we needed to know about the island including restaurants we should dine at. The service we received from him over the six days that we stayed there was first class.

The hotel rooms had under gone a major renovation and were beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable bed we slept in during our three weeks in Greece. Breakfast was served buffet style with his mother doing the cooking. He always made a point to stop and talk to everyone during breakfast. He organized a barbecue for any of the guests that wanted to participate. His father cooked the meat and his mother prepared the rest of the meal. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of food and wine.

This is definitely a great place to stay in Naxos.

After two very busy days and a ferry trip from Athens, we were welcomed to the Island of Naxos by Kostas, who greeted us with his big friendly smile, as he collected us from the port. We were offered a 'welcome' drink and Kostas spent time telling us about the island, places to visit, beaches, restaurants that he would recommend etc. The hotel and our room was spotlessly clean and with decor and little touches that makes it feel luxurious. At breakfast, where you are once again greeted by Kostas with his welcoming smile, there is a great choice and its delicious. It is a short walk to a lovely beach and a 15 minute easy walk into the centre. There is a bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel if you want to explore further. We booked for two nights but wished we had booked for longer. Should we go back to Naxos, we would definately stay at Saint Vlassis Hotel, and will not hesitate to recommend to others. Kostas, thankyou for making us feel so welcome, relaxed and at home, we loved it !! (Janette and Craig)

We made a booking based on some of the earlier reviews here - a consitent theme about the high quality of the hosts' family was apparent. Sure enough, from the moment we got off the ferry, everything about our three days in Naxos was easy, relaxing and great. Kostas - who has the widest smile on the island - met us at the ferry terminal, drove us to the hotel, and settled us in with a wonderful introduction to sights, beaches, restaurants and other essential information. He's very easy going, has a warm and friendly demeanor, and made us feel right at home. Over the next three days, every interaction with Kostas and his family was consistent - warm, sincere, helpful.

The property is a little off the town center and beach, but honestly not by much. We walked to the waterfront promenade in Chora (the town area) in about ten minutes along a straight road that was well-lit in the evenings. The nearest beach (Saint George) takes between ten to fifteen minutes to walk to as well. There's a bus-stop just two minutes away, where you can take the bus to another beautiful beach (Aghios Prokopios).

Our room was renovated just last winter and looked amazing - clean, bright, tasteful, with modern bathroom facilities and a small balcony overlooking the neighbouring farm just in front of the property. There was air-conditioning, a hot shower, plenty of closet space, a comfortable bed, and plenty of lighting. It was kept very tidy. In addition, breakfast (love the cheese pies and homemade jam!) was provided, and so were beach towels!

Kostas' recommendations on food are spot on. He shared with us a list of places he and his family dine at; we visited four of them over three days, and they were all excellent.

Naxos is a very lovely destination with great beaches, good sights around the island, amazing scenary (espcially when you drive around the interior island), fresh and delicious food and pleasant weather. It is, in our opinion, far more interesting and fun than Santorini, which we were at just prior to Naxos. This is one of the most under-rated islands in Greece; if you do visit, we highly recommend Saint Vlassis!!

It was definitely a memorable experience, Kostas is an incredible person! He has a natural high sense of customer service and super professional. The property is beautiful with a great location just 8 minutes walking from one of the nicest beaches. The hotel has very nice decoration. Great rooms and loved the bathrooms! Also the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and the most important, everything is very clean! In general it was the best choice, i would definitely go back and i if you go to the beautiful islan of Naxos, dont miss the oportunity to live such an amazing experience, highly recommended!! Kostas thank you for everything!!
