We were with a small group, but I doubt our treatment was any different than that of independent travelers. The Naxosbeach does not pamper in any obvious way. It is, however, quite clean and comfortable, as far as we were concerned. Breakfast was fine, better than most, and the dining areas outside were quiet and enjoyable.
The grounds were attractively laid out, with shady gardens, always nice in sunny Greece. The lobby is large but comfy enough to spend time in, and there is of course a computer for use. Our room was plenty big, the bathroom not any bigger than it had to be, but again, that is the way it is in the Aegean unless you bump your price range up a bit.
Really nice to enjoy the restaurant a half block away on the beach, for dinner or just drinks. The beach is the easiest way to walk from town to the hotel. The town is closely built, and it can be kind of nice to get away and back to the Hotel at the end of the day.
The swimming was just lovely in the sea, after hiking around. We did not try the pool, but would have if we had been there in the middle of the day.More
