Tiny restaurant in a super charming part of Naxos Town. 6 tables outside and a few inside. Only 2 staff: a French woman who is the owner and server, and her chef. The food is French with a focus on Mediterranean ingredients. We had a great meal of tomato bruschetta, local cheese “fondue”, and a main course of sea bass with leeks and carrots covered in Gouda cheese and accompanied by a delicious potato, leek and carrot purée.
Our only problem was the fact that they advertised themselves as a wine bar (and restaurant). But with only 3 wines available by the glass can you really be call yourself a wine bar? So in that sense it was disappointing but if your intention is to simply have a lovely meal with wine in a beautiful and blessedly quiet location you will be very happy.
