October nights in Naxos can be warm enough to eat out and then the wind blows up!!
On the first night we ate at this former printers we tried to get a table in the lower outside area. Unfortunately there was no room. There was on the top of the building. We were not alone up there. On our final night the lower area was empty and the gas heaters were on in the covered roof area.
On both occasions the food was good, service helpful and pleased we went back again. In our two visits we ate Baked veggie tarts with sweet pepper sauce, Rocket with hard goat cheese & honey dressing, Lamb shank, slow cooked in thyme & wine sauce, Chicken fillet with Naxian gruyere cheese sauce and Cream of fresh Naxian sweet cheese with strawberry soup (this last dish not so exciting). The only thing I could not understand is why they don't keep the candles in glass containers actually working whilst a diner is there. It adds to the atmosphere.
