Description: With an ambiance that emulates the relaxed, opulent experience of dining on the island of nAXOS, the attentive service and high-quality fare offered here is a true delight. Each dish on Sarris menu is considered a specialty, but the fresh daily Thalassina (seafood) is most popular among their loyal patronage. Indulge in fish-free delicacies, our famous chicken souvlaki and the traditional baked lamb with ouzo, tomatoes, and Kefalotiri cheese . Most importantly, Sarris Taverna lives up to its Aegean namesake memorable taste."

Read the reviews on trip advise and went looking for this restaurant. It was well worth it. Fabulous food. Well cooked, fresh and delicious. Traditional Greek fare as well as other popular dishes. Very reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient staff. Looking forward to going back there.

Just off the main port strip this small taverna has a nice shaded patio and a good selection of lunch items. Special was chicken fillet, salad, fried potatoes and a glass of wine for 9.50€. Local liqueur was gratis. Sardines were excellent. Everything cooked to order. Friendly service . . . Reasonable prices . . . Good location.

Lovely little place on a tiny street near the port. My husband and I ordered the grilled octopus (yum!) and the fried calamari (yum x2!). Both were delicious! Staff was also extremely friendly - they treated up to an on the house yogurt dessert and a shot of ouzo!

We usually avoid the busiest part of town, but the reviews of this restaurant made us try it. It was wonderful. Stephanos was a great waiter. I ate the fresh Naxos calamari, which was delicious, but more than I could eat. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass. I can also recommend the melanzanesalata and the bread, which was far nicer than some of the dry offerings out there. We will go back.
