Description: Picasso on the beach is a beautiful restaurant serving extraordinary mexican food with friendly service. Opened in 1996 customers have been returning year after year for our fresh homemade food including favorites such as our famous sizzling fajitas, tender juicy steaks, fabulous and fresh guacamole and salsa, homemade refried beans, hamburgers and our fresh lime and strawberry margaritas. We serve food and drinks on the beach and have a new and safe playground for the kids while you enjoy a quiet dinner. Our goal is to offer you a special meal in a special place, with view, cooling breeze, excellent food and always a friendly helpful smile to make your experience at Picasso extra special.

“Mexican revelation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

Not a particular fan of Mexican cuisine. Came here at a friend's recommendation. Although it was mid-August, service was good.
The place is nice, friendly, pastel tones, low lighting.
The food was really wonderful. Ingredients were fresh, very tasty, portions were large. I really can't confirm comments of reviewers about too much onions and little meat in the fajita. On the contrary, it was the best fajita I've ever had.
Bravo to the owners and managers!!

“Good Mexican for greek standards”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Generally, Mexican food in Greece is misrepresented and bland. Ironically, Picasso is way better than most Mexican restaurants I've eaten in Athens and good for Greek standards. We've been there many times on several visits on Naxos, as we love Mexican food and our son loves the playground. Their margaritas (on the rocks - always!) are great, their guac is fine, they actually serve refried beans, and their menu range is decent. We love the nachos, and the mexican salad but our mains have always been hit or miss. The fajitas are nice but the amount of meat you get for the money you pay is clearly not worth it. The shrimps in the shrimp soft tacos, were cold, bland and very dry. The chicken enchilada was nice, but the pork not really. We also did breakfast once, and liked the breakfast burrito but not the huevos rancheros. So overall it's hit or miss, definitely not cheap, and the service can be wanting at times. Margaritas are great, though.

“Lovely food, great location and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

We were recommended this restaurant by some Greek friends and it was a great recommendation. The food was great and reasonably priced, with good service and a nice location to watch the sun go down. We would go back again and would recommend. Families are welcome as well and the place has a nice relaxed vibe to it.

“Lovely Mexican restaurant on Plaka Beach...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014

This is a gem of a restaurant with excellent service and really good Mexican food. Lots of choice and at a good price as well. We had corn chips with dip to start with sizzling fajitas and enchilladas for our mains with house white wine. The bill was 44Euros which was well worth it and the experience is fantastic. Well worth a visit or 2 while in Naxos.
