The manager was friendly and attentive. Our breakfast table was ready when we came down in the morning including a pot of coffee since that was our preference. The hotel is convenient to walking onto the city wall or walking a short block to the High street near plenty of cafe's and restaurants. The building is very old but the windows are new double paned, the shower worked well and for en suite the price was very good. The rooms front do face the train tracks and include ear plugs and a small fan. Remember to ask for the back rooms but even though we forgot, it didn't seem to bother us that much and we slept well. The room included a TV which seems irrelevant since Bacharach is not a place to waste watching TV. Besides the train, we could see the boat traffic on the Rhine quite well. There is no internet but again there are better things to do.
