“This Museum is Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2014

My family and I visited this Museum Saturday June 14, 2014. I thought the price for admission was quite reasonable considering everything they had to see. I liked the Dino area it was very interesting. It had several dinosaurs that were animatronics. You can get a good education and have fun at the same time. So much to see. We got the chance to go outside and walked the wood bridge to see the wildlife. We got lucky as most of them were out and we were also able to read all about them. The aquariums were beautiful, and also tranquil to watch. We spent the better part of a day there and could have stayed longer. I intend to go back to see everything that I didn't have time to see on this visit.

“Lots of fun for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2014

We have taken our 3 year old grand daughter here several times and she always enjoys it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the teens at the touch tank are especially patient with kids. The outdoor exhibits are good, but depending on the time of day- you may or may not get to see any animals in them, as they like to sleep out of sight. We will definitely go back to the VA Living Museum soon.

“Great place for kids and adults”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

We loved visiting the Living Museum with our little one while living in VA. It was a great place to go without feeling like you were being overwhelmed with a ton of people or a huge place where you might miss out on seeing things. Our son loved visiting from the time he was preschool aged until age six when we moved. We really enjoyed the indoor aquariums, hands on activities upstairs and down, and the outdoor animal watching. We all really learned a lot about Virginia's regions and the animals that live there. Unfortunately we did not have the chance to watch any of the laser light shows they put on but Im sure they were great too!

“A Zoo, But Better”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2014

This has everything a zoo has to offer, plus so much more. Kids will love the hands on activities, and people of all ages will love the up close view of wildlife. A lot of it is also indoors, allowing for people to get out of the heat for a bit, but don't forget to walk the outside trail, you will miss out big time if you don't! Also make sure to check out the traveling exhibits. I have come here many times just to see those. I can say I have never had a dull moment at this museum.
