This place is so filthy, I bid on a 2 star hotel on Priceline and got this dump. I will never do that again. I used about 10 Lysol wipes to clean the room. I thought there was a dead rat in the ac but it was just a dust ball mixed with mold. I wiped up coffee ans drink spills from previous guests. I'm sure housekeeping is underpaid, but this wasn't sanitary. Walls were black with filth, just so filthy! The back door had open access to anyone, no key needed. Hallway/stair smelled of urine. It was loud, there were parties going on and dogs barking. My son thought we would be murdered, what a mistake using Priceline. Front desk clerk was nice. This place is not worth not worth a penny. Stay somewhere else, please or be prepared to clean and be disgusted.
Best Advice.... Skip It! Unless you really are desperate, this place is the pits. Moldy bathrooms, dirty towels and sheets, moldy carpets, flimsy doors and windows, filthy rooms, diabetic delight for breakfast (not one protein item and not so much as a yogurt available). Miss this one if you can!
We stayed here for 3 nights with my mom and our German Shepherd expecting only a place to sleep and something to eat in the AM. Having read the reviews and the possibility of a remodel being complete, (not expecting much) we decided to book it. The breakfast is next to nothing (tiny bagels, 1 kind of small pastry, 2 kinds of cereal, miniature muffins, coffee, & 2 kinds of juice). The front desk staff is very kind and courteous, the rooms were adequate size, AC was working, beds were very comfortable (2 doubles), bathroom was very outdated with two large cracks in the sink (surprised it held water), lots of mold in the shower, rust on the towel rack and mirror, there was a clock radio next to the bed but no wall socket to plug it into, the only wastebasket in the entire room was in the bathroom and it was tiny, cannot comment on the pool because we didn't use it, on the second day our card key wouldn't work and had to wait 10+ minutes for the front staff to reprogram (the gal in front of me was checking in and they lost her non-smoking room reservation so they put her in a smoking room after many gyrations (including talking to customer support on the phone) trying to fool the computer into letting them book a room), and a broken cabinet door on a piece of furniture. The fridge and microwave were nice. If the bathroom door wasn't closed when you entered the room, you would hit the bathroom door (weird configuration). It was close to many places (shopping, restaurants-especially breakfast, gas). I asked the front desk clerk about the timeline of remodeling and she said the owner had hired one contractor to do the work, however, they took the money and didn't do much work. Now the owner is accumulating more funds to hire another contractor to do the work. She did not have any idea what the timeline for renovations would be. Overall, for the price it was OK. They could spend a little harder on a more nutritious breakfast. For example, add fruit, hot cereal, or normal size bagels in various flavors!
Stayed at this hotel over memorial day weekend. The price was affordable and close to everything I wanted to do . The ladies working the front desk were excellent and professional. The room was an ok size with a popcorn ceiling, in the room during the first night I had to kill one roach and some other weird looking bug that appeared on the ceiling and wall. For that reason I will never stay at this hotel again. I would have checked out if rates weren't so high that weekend due to the holiday. Do not waste your money .
