I stayed a season in la plagne and l'arlequin was by far my favourite restaurant. The food is excellent - really fresh, with all the french classics - fondue, raclette, meat on hot stones, with steaks, fish and lots more. But the most important factor on making this place excellent was the cosy atmosphere after you enter down via a spiral staircase to the restaurant and are always welcomed by the owners - George and Monique - who are lovely and really try to make sure everything is really nice, they speak fluent english and help to guide you through the menu and give there recomendations. Although aime la plagne is a little trek away from the other stations of la plagne - centre, bellecote, belle plagne and 1800, its worth the trek and may aswell make good use of the free buses and gondola across- which is a pretty good experience to do the gondola at night anyway and only takes 5 mins.
open during day as accessible via the piste with outdoor seating as well on those nice days - try the burgers!!! and of course open in evenings!
