We stayed at Le Clos du Buis in June this year. First of all Bonnieux is the most incredible and gorgeous village I have seen. It is buzzing little village with the most incredible restaurants. We loved coming back to Bonnieux every afternoon after our day of sightseeing. Le Clos Du Buis is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the town, very central to everything. The hosts were so friendly and they went out of their way to make everything perfect. We stayed in the Rose Room with the most amazing view over Mont Ventoux and the Luberon valley. Room was spacious and really comfortable. There is gorgeous gardens with a big pool to cool down in on a hot day which we did. At night we we stroll through the town and ate in wonderful restaurants everyday. The morning breakfast are incredible, home made tart or cake every morning which is a very special touch. The restaurant across the road called L'Arome was fantastic, it is not cheap but worth every cent. The food was amazing. There is also a great little restaurant right at the tip of the town with seating overlooking the Luberon, a bit more casual but that view from our table I will remember for the rest of my life, it is a little Brasserie. Make sure you are there during the Friday food markets, amazing. We bought lunch goodies and went for a picnic at Gordes. I can not wait to come back and will stay at Le Clos du Buis for sure.

Room Tip: The Rose Room, best view

My wife and I stayed at this B&B on the 13-14/11 and was so surprise with the place.
First of all it's impressing old house with so much authentic antique furniture that get's you into the mood of old France right away. Then the hosts are so nice and willing to help.
The rooms are amazing, clean and very big and each room has its theme.
The breakfast is very very good with a rich buffet, private and secure parking.
The location is the best, we traveled the entire Provence and the hotel is right in the middle of anything, Bonniex is one of the most beautiful towns in Provence.

Room Tip: Next to the hotel there is a gourmet restaurant which is recommended by Michelin guide, DON'T mi...

Great views of Mont Ventoux and surrounding hill-perched towns from the Rose room. Family run hotel with a very welcoming feel. Tastefully decorated rooms show attention to detail. Extras include garden tables that welcome picnics, a pool, and parking.

A beautifully restored building in an outstanding location. We spent two nights there in the red room with period Provencale furniture and good views up the hill. Excellent breakfasts. Private parking. Could not be faulted. If you are eating out in October the choice of restaurant may not be that great - we ate out in the expensive Ambrose just across the street. Slightly disappointing the first evening but redeemed itself the next night

We recently spent five glorious days staying with friends in the blue room and the rose room. Both very comfortable rooms with good amenities and lovely countryside views. Pierre was a wonderful, charming host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast had a wide range of options with fresh cakes cooked by Madame. Very handy to be able to do some washing, as well. We made the most of the well equipped summer kitchen and had delightful dinners in the beautiful garden beside the pool, as good as a restaurant and a quarter of the price! The pool was a welcome retreat after touring the surrounding villages. ... But none as good as Bonnieux for us. There are a lot of restaurant choices in Bonnieux and we were lucky to be there for 14th July and a fun local celebration. We would all return in a heartbeat.

found this hotel in the Alastair sawdays guide, was not dissapointed, clean, had the rose room overlooking the valley, good parking, nice pool and garden.

Best breakfast of our Holiday, for a small place so much choice. no bar but Pierre the owner sells his house wine for 6 Euro a Bottle. has a laundry room for guest use, as well as a fridge and ice machine.

walking distance to over 20 restaurants, a lovely small town.

Plan to stay there again on our next trip

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the valley
