“Brilliant views and breakfast...plus marvellous hosts”
Reviewed August 30, 2011

After an 800 mile drive from England, arriving here to be greeted so warmly by Jean Marc was just what we needed. He and his wife are great hosts and are clearly suited to their new role - they have been running Les Terrasses for less than a year.
There are only 5 rooms arranged along one terrace that has fabulous views over to Mt Ventoux; each room has its own private sitting area. Rooms are comfortable and cool even wtthout aircon....bathrooms are fine but are probably due an update. Sound proofing is good - 2 of the other couples each had a young baby and we were not disturbed...in fact it was very sociable out on the terrace.
The pool is large and also has great views.
Breakfast is served until 10.30 am and is excellent, with boiled eggs, meats and cheeses on offer, plus pastries, coffee, juices etc. This was served on the upper terrace with, again, great views.
We highly recommend this as a friendly and quiet place to stay within easy walking distance of a beautiful village.

Great bed and breakfast with brilliant panoramic view over the Luberon seen from the private terrace. The owners were very kind and helpful. They were also very kind to our baby kid. The B&B is very child friendly with all the facilties you need for them. The B&B is 5 minutes walking from the town of Bonnieux where are a lot of restaurants. A great place to come back for sure!

We absolutely loved this spot stuck up in the Luberon Mountains with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and neighboring hilltop towns. Our room (#1) in this 5 room bed and breakfast was very comfortable. Our favorite part was our small terrace where we enjoyed watching the sunset while drinking local wine.

Les Terrasses de Luberon is walking distance to the town of Bonnieux where we had a great dinner one night at a fun restaurant recommended by the owners, Marie Laure & Jean Marc. They were both extremely friendly and helpful as we planned our excursions in the area. Jean Marc is fluent in English and is really fun to talk to. Breakfast was very good with local honey and jams that we really enjoyed and fresh eggs.

We had a wonderful time and would love to return for a longer stay (we were there 2 nights).

A bit about us. My boyfriend and I were on a 3 week vacation traveling through France, Switzerland, Italy and Poland. We both travel a lot with work. Although we stayed at a lot of places on the trip, we only wrote reviews for the few places we liked the best.

We stayed here for almost a week and were impressed by this great chambre d'hotes. Spacious rooms, private terrace, great views, and superb swimming pool, great breakfast with fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese, eggs, etc. Served by the wonderful hosts Jean-Marc and Marie-Laure who are giving their personal touch to make your stay unforgettable. For the bikers between us there are splendid biking possibilities and a garage available. Very close to the centre of Bonnieux, walking distance to several nice restaurants.
We will definitely go back!!

Wonderful Chambres d'Hotes on the edge of the beautiful village of Bonnieux. It is impossible to fault the impeccable service and excellent facilities provided for us by Jean-Marc and Marie-Laure. We could have sat forever on the little terrace outside our room and looked at the splendid view over Mount Ventoux and the Luberon. Very good breakfast served in a lovely room. Slight uphill walk into the main village for restaurants etc. This took about 10 minutes, not an issue for us and worth it for easy, secure car parking. If we ever return to this area we will ensure that we book early for Les Terrasses because we couldn't imagine finding anywhere better.

Les Terrasses du Luberon is lovely bed and breakfast with only 5 rooms perched on a hill overlooking the Luberon, with vineyards and lavender fields -- a quintessentially Provence experience. We couldn't get enough of the view. The rooms are large and clean, newly renovated and a great deal for the price. There is a comfortable terrace, with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool is fantastic, with more lounge chairs. There is a kitchen guests can use to prepare cold suppers and a large refrigerator for all those bottles of local wine. We loved the vineyard just down the street, recommended by owners Jean-Marc and Marie-Laure. They are a wonderful couple, providing a warm welcome and answering all our questions -- and we had a lot of them. The breakfast, overlooking the valley, is unusually copious for France, with fresh croissants and pains au chocolate, fresh breads, with fresh jams made by a neighbor. They offer cereals, yogurt, cheese, ham and an egg if you wish. When they learned we loved the breads best, they served several different kinds the next day, all fresh from the boulanger. They really couldn't do enough to make our stay terrific. Their restaurant recommendations were all tops, and they helped us find all the local outdoor markets. Bonnieux is a great base, a lovely hilltop town with easy access to many other lovely hilltop towns and the Luberon forest.. It really can't be beat.

My mother, sister, brother-in-law and I had a wonderful time in Provence. This B&B has 5 rooms aligning a lovely stone terrace which overlooks a beautiful valley. Lavender fields can be seen from the terrace. There are chaise chairs, a table and loungers for each room and a clean pool at the end of the terrace. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast was enjoyable enjoying croissants, fresh breads, jams, fruit on the terrace. The hosts Jean-Marc and Marie Laure were genuinely warm and inviting. Always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. I would definitely return to this B&B and enjoy this lovely region.

Room Tip: all the rooms appear pretty much equal.
