best food I had in provence - super great value - 24euros for 3 course - can't beat that. house wine was 6 euros per glass and was decent. chef is asian lady - really friendly - so some food has a little asian twist. Steak was delicious! and starters were the best.

Our group of 3 couples had a wonderful lunch on the terrace at L'heure Bleue - enjoying the special salad, yummy lamb, etc. They offered a nice amuse bouche, every dish was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although they do not offer wines by the carafe (unusual in this area), the suggestion of a bottle of local rose was a good one. We returned (just three women this time - the husbands had gone home) for dinner and were glad we had made a reservation, since it was the night of a music festival in the square in front of the terrace, and we spent a wonderful evening enjoying Yoha's great cooking while watching the people of Bonnieux gathering to dance and visit. By the time we left, there were hugs all around with the waitress and Yoha, and promises to return. This restaurant deserves to succeed, by offering local products cooked in a wonderful French/Asian hybrid style, by engaging and competent staff.

There are a number of restaurants in Bonnieux and this one is very good with a short but interesting menu, good local wines and very friendly service.

The owner is Thai and on the night we went, one of the choices was fish (not named) cooked in paper with a Thai sauce - coconut milk, ginger, lemon grass etc. Unexpected in Provence but very welcome.

We ate on the terrace and enjoyed one of the legendary Bonnieux sunsets and when it started to get cold after the sun went down, the owner asked my wife if she was feeling cold and brought out a wrap/blanket for her - nice touch.

If you are in Bonnieux for a few days, you should try this restaurant - I think that the menu changes regularly possibly some dishes each day depending on market availability.

We were booked into he for dinner by sun-bike tour. The restaurant was pretty full which always is a good start. Food was very enjoyable and the waitress tried to understand us (sorry no French). We had a really nice time and loved the chef cruising around the tables. Al in all an excellent night.
