Stayed in peak holiday time so little choice of hotels or rooms. This place is very convenient for walking into the nearby village, which is quaint and full of restaurants and cafes. We thought the hotel was expensive for what you got but that is probably due to being a holiday destination and full. We were allocated rooms out the back below the pool area, which might make some anxious as they were motel like, and accessible to anybody during daylight until the carpark gates are closed. Ask for rooms in main block best, sea views cooler in afternoon, forest views get full setting sun. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful, and spoke reasonable English.
No real beach nearby, as when tide out, mud and rocks separate you from the sea by 100s of metres. Hotel pool quite reasonable.
Internet access a bit of a pain, as need to log on each time used, but at least it is free.More
