We arrived on bicycles and were warmly welcomed and shown the secure bike garage. We had reserved probably one of the best rooms in the place, as we had large balcony with fantastic sea views. There is a road between the hotel and the beach, but this was not a problem from a noise or crossing point of view. Bed was comfortable, there was a recently refurbished shower room, good quality linen, and reasonable amount of space. Excellent choice at breakfast, plus large cocktail menu at the bar. Restaurant is only open to guests on half or full board tariff, but there are many restaurants to choose from in the town centre, less than five minutes' walk away. This is a typically French family-run hotel, with all kinds of accommodation contained within it, immediately accessible to the beach and with its own covered pool and gym. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

A 5 night holiday with inclusive ferry crossings. Good looking hotel from the outside right across the road from its own car park and the sandy beach. Very clean and tidy. Family run and supervised. Basic rooms plain and small, but this holiday had no facility to upgrade. Swimming pool fine, but look on it as a family splash pool. No chance of length swimming. Dinner mainly for those on half board, so we wandered into town each evening. The cleanliness and managerial supervision shone through, but I wish we could have had a larger room.

Room tip: Balcony rooms look better. Hope someone will tell Brittany Ferries.

Our second stay was as good as our first. All the staff made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble and someone was always at reception. Lounging on our terrace balcony soaking up the sun after a dip in the pool or the sea. Looking forward to a third visit 2017.

This is a very friendly, family run establishment in an ideal location, just across from the beach. The owners were very welcoming and they speak good English. Our room was functional but a little small. It was at the back of the hotel, in a separate wing and had one been available, we would have moved to a room facing the sea as ours had no balcony and felt a little claustrophobic. Breakfast was good, lots of choice with eggs, cheeses, cereals and yogurts etc, plus a juicer for oranges. The coffee was a little disappointing though, rather weak by French standards.

We were not on half board but were able to book dinner for the following night the previous evening. We did this once and were glad we did as it was excellent and terrific value. The food was superb.

We loved the pool and the area around it. It was always quiet and heated to a great temperature. All very relaxing!

Room tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel with sea views.

Received a lovely welcome from the receptionist and found all the other staff friendly too. Room is not huge, but the balcony more than makes up for this. Room and bathroom are well laid out with plenty of storage room and (unusually for France) there is a kettle with tea and coffee supplied. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there is a fan. Breakfast is good, with ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, bread and croissants. Only those on half board can have dinner in the restaurant, which is a shame, because the set menu looked nice, however there are very many restaurants in the town 5 to 10 minutes walk for the hotel. Free Wi-Fi worked well. There is access to the beautiful sandy beach just across the road and the hotel also has its own indoor pool. There is a sauna available for a small charge. Would definitely come to this hotel again if I was in the area.

Room tip: Worth the extra cost for a room with a lovely big balcony overlooking the sea
