Very good visit the exhibitions were very interesting, the tasting at the end was lovely and there was a choice of two types of liqueur.

A very short visit. An hour max. They only open up one wing and there’s not a lot to see. I can’t say I came away with my eyes opened. The building is more stunning from the outside. It’s basically a distillery tour with a couple tasters each at the end.

An absolutely brilliant museum and collection. Could have spent longer reading all the information about each item but we were with a tour bus. The rooms were so well set out and decorated and I just didn't know where to look and you can take photos which is wonderful. To finish the visit we had a tour of the distillery and a lesson in the methods and ingredients of the Benedictine Liquor. Of course we taste tested at the end and even bought some small bottles home with us. Lovely shop to buy a memento of the visit and very friendly staff.

Well worth the entrance fee. Get hold of the Carte d'Hote booklet and you get reduction from €12 to €9 (adults). The palace itself is fascinating and the tour of the distillery, cellars and free samples provide a nice conclusion. Only small groups are guided round the distillery, so as I was the only non-French speaker it was hard to follow. However when I asked a question in English, the guide got rid of the others and explained everything in English - excellent service!

We stopped in Fecamp for 1 night. This building was on our doorstep and the architecture is so beautiful we were compelled to explore further. €12 each and we were in. Really it is 2 attractions in 1 as not only is it a stunning and beautifully preserved palace but it is the home of the liquor Benedictine and it is ALL produced here. Once you've explored the palace rooms (good info provided), you then go beneath for a guided minitour of the distillery and then on to a tasting (all in the price). Well worth spending a couple of hours here. SUGGESTION: It would be good if they gave drivers the option of taking away a miniature bottle instead
