Beautifull view of Canigou, quiet place, swimming pool, palm trees, hospitallity.I would like to come back here! It is a perfect place to rest and explore Pyrenees Orientales ( I hope it is correct).Check in for a couple of nights and you won't be dissappointed.

We just left Castell Rose and, to tell the truth, I would not have minded staying there a few more days. We've been traveling for two weeks in Spain and southern France and the stay here has been the highlight of the trip. The place is full of charm and the hosts have been warm and welcoming. They even helped us plan our visits to near by sights. We also met lovely people who also stayed there and this added to the wonderful experience. We are definitely going to return to Castell Rose. Thank you Evelyne and Alex.

Our room and en suite were immaculate. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and we enjoyed two wonderful nights peaceful sleep. Breakfast of breads, cheeses, yogurt etc was served in wonderful surroundings. Evelyne the owner was friendly and efficient in every way. A very lovely, relaxing base, quality in every sense.

Room Tip: Can't imagine there are any bad rooms!

This small hotel-bed & breakfast is a great choice for stays in Prades. Only a short walk from the centre and surrounded by large private gardens, it is a both a great place to relax and also a good base for the area. Large rooms with charm and style and two very helpful and pleasant owners who took so much time to explain the sights and activities and recommend restaurants. It is the sort of place that you find and wish that you had booked more nights at. Lovely gardens and also a private swimming pool (clean) as well as a nice terrace to relax on. Almost forgot to mention that some of the rooms have fantastic views of the mountains. One suprise was that there was not a tv in the bedroom, but with the view outside, that was hardly essential.

This hotel is already on the list to return to. No hesitation about recommending it.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the mountains.

We stayed in the Gaudi appartment - clean, light, beautifully decorated and equipped and in a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance of Prades town centre. It was everything we'd hoped for - we just couldn't fault it. We were late arriving, missed dinner and were delighted to find that the owners had left a bowl of pasta for us - very thoughtful and very much appreciated. All the furniture and fittings are really good quality (fantastic halogen hob and big TV) and the laundry (with a 20-minute wash programme) was very useful. It was also great having a computer in the gite - no need to bring a laptop. We chose Gaudi because it was west-facing and enjoyed the evening sun on the terrace. Prades is an excellent central location for exploring the area - go west into the Pyrenees, east towards the coast or discover beautiful scenery and villages north and south of Prades. We had a wonderful stay in Gaudi and are very happy to recommend it.

It is a big house with lots of room and services, indeed you almost feel like in an hotel.
Evelyn takes care of the breakfast (good with local fruits and cheese) and advices on restaurant for which we were never disappointed. There is plenty of things to do in this B&B (tennis, swimming pool, ping pong,....) therefore it should suits families very well. Unfortunately we could not rest as wanted, one of the owner's daughter had a party with her friends in the garden and did make noise until late in the night. Bed sheets could have been cleaner.

Dear sir,
Thank you for your contribution,
My daughter's birthday is one's a year and we made sure that there was no noise after 11.00 pm. Bed sheets are given to an association in order to support the reinsertion of disabled people. It is not always perfect but it is clean.
We thank you that you would still advice Castell Rose to your friends and hope to see you again in Castell Rose.
