“Very good fish!”
Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

Right on the water, very good, fresh fish. The service was good, even in our broken French. And it was fast. The food was good and not expensive. I would definitely come back. It is in the fish store so if the smell of fish bothers you or you like fancy schmancy this might not be the place for you. But if you like really fresh, good fish, you'll love it!

“Really fresh fish straight from the boat”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Only open at lunchtime when we were there, but recommendations regarding their fresh fish made us give it a try. Those eating the fish or prawns were very happy, whilst those going for the expensive choices of lobster and/or langoustines found them to be distinctly average with the lobster pretty tasteless and chewy.

“If you want fresh fish, go here!”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

From the boat, to counter, to kitchen and then your plate.

If you enjoy fresh fish in an unpretentious environment, go here. The fish will have been freshly landed from the adjacent harbour, walk down the counter and choose your fish, see it filleted and delivered to your plate via the kitchen.

A wonderful choice of just about any fish or shell fish that you could imagine.

“From sea to plate”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

An unpretentious restaurant on the waterfront. The restaurant shares it's space with the retail outlet so you can see all the wonderful fish on display that comes directly from their own fishing boats.
The menu is simple but showcases the excellent seafood that is on offer. The "Maison" fish & chips is one of the best I have ever eaten. On a previous vist we shared a huge fruit du mer which was equally delicious.
The only downside is the terrace which unfortunately sits in the shade so can be a little chilly even on a warm day.
Will certainly revisit.

“Fish direct from the boat, then direct from the fish counter!”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

This fish shop sells direct from their own fishing boats, and now cooks the fish at the back of the poissonerie, so you don't get fresher than that. Excellent sole meuniere, frites probably a better choice than veg, but that is always the case in Normandy. The terrace overlooks the fishing boats, and the indoor tables are just on the other side of the shop to the fish counter - a real experience.
