We had read that Saint- Vaast oysters were the best in France, so being oyster- lovers, had to make a pilgrimage here during our stay in Normandy. Our bed and breakfast recommended this harbor side restaurant as moderately priced with excellent food...and it was just that. The raw oysters were very large and wonderful...other patrons were eating large plates of steamed mussels or shrimp. After the oysters, I ordered locally grown lamb for dinner. Pictures of the little farm where the sheep are raised were on the bar. Very charming. The restaurant is small and lacks a lot of atmosphere, but the food makes up for that. Lots of French families were there.
