We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the plentiful and varied breakfast. The hotel room was pretty small, with stained jute carpeting that has seen better days. The wifi was nonexistent for most of the time we were there. The location is excellent for visiting the Normandy landing beaches. Arromanches is a 5 minute walk away and there are quite a few restaurants.

I stayed at this hotel a while back and it was a wonderful experience. Make sure you engage with Luis and ask him for ideas and things to do; he is a man full of resources and off-the-beaten-path sights.

The dinner at Le Pappagall was a bang for the bucks we paid, delicious meal and the recommendations were a success.

We only stayed three nights but they were wonderful, and Normandy is a stunning landscape (make sure you try a few glasses of Calvados ;))

Definitely good value for money. It is a small hotel with a very friendly owner who is always available to help his guests with any questions you have. The rooms are not very big but clean and well taken care of with comfortable beds. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to the beach and a car can be parked 50 metres away. Would recommend this hotel and come back the next time we visit this region.

The proprietor could not have been any more friendly and appreciative of our business, as he explained, theirs is a family business. The hotel being a 1700's structure had a lot of charm but the room was spartan. Nevertheless the location pretty much on the beach and in the center of town, was perfect. The breakfast was 10 euro and included fresh (large) croissants, yogurt, cereal, and baguettes, local cheese and ham. Magnifique!

If you are looking for a place to stay on Normandy to tour the beaches at a reasonable cost, this is a good place to stay.

The location is excellent, the hotel is old and has narrow stairs and decor is a bit dated but was clean and had a super comfortable bed. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was ok but having asked for a large bottle of mineral water an already opened bottle was produced with an Evian label which was distinctly tap water, we were then charged €5 for it!!

Room Tip: Top floor room has a narrow spiral staircase so avoid if not very mobile

Madam,

We thank you for your visit to Arromanches and to have choosen our Hotel to satay with us. We also thank you about your words on tripadvisor, but YOU should know and all the readers will know that for confort... our waiters open the bottles before bringing them to the table....
Anyway If you are familiar to a Evian Water taste... you should tell the difference between Evian and Tap water....
Ridiculus ....
