The Liberators Museum conveys the human side of the momentous events of June 1944 and beyond. Through a superb collection of uniforms, equipment, and other artefacts, this museum reminds us that ordinary men and women did extraordinary things in the name of freedom. The stories which accompany the uniforms and personal effects are touching and inspiring. The Liberators Museum deserves its place alongside the best of the Normandy sites. A visit to this excellent, friendly museum is recommended to all without hesitation. I plan a return visit myself!
