“Great B&B in excellent location.”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Stayed in Normandy Beach B&B for 3 nights to explore D Day beaches with my son. We went in interesting car so good secure parking under cover in courtyard. Adrian and Karen very welcoming. Big home cinema to watch films. Nothing too much trouble. They have a 'beer fridge' which guests can use. Room was clean and shower was excellent. Great location for exploring D Day beaches.
Loads of good places to eat nearby. If you are into classic cars/bikes excellent place to stay.

We found Normandy Beach B&B on the internet and what a fantastic find it was. The beach at Arramanches (known as Port Winston) is so historic with the remains of the mulberries from the DDay landings on June 6th 1944. We received a great warm welcome by Karen and Adrian, our lovely hosts, who offered us tea, coffee, wine or beer upon our arrival and we enjoyed a chat over a glass or two of wine before they showed us to our room (the Biggles Room) which is a converted hayloft. The whole place is so full of character with a wood burning stove in the dining room and the breakfasts, a choice of continental or full English absolutely delicious. We will definitely stay there again and hopefully for longer next time. Thank you Karen and Adrian for making our stay so enjoyable Lesley and Barrie Weeks

We stayed at the Normandy Beach B&B as we were working in the location for a few days . The couple who own it are very welcoming and make you feel right at home, excellent setting to explore all the history in the area

We came across the Normandy Beach B&B purely by chance during a trip in October 2013. We stopped in the centre and were trying to find our bearings when we were approached by Adrian, We were looking for a B&B and he suggested 2 or 3 before mentioning the Normandy Beach he owned, almost as an after thought. He suggested we have a look and if we didn't like it he would assist us in helping us find somewhere suitable.

We drove in to the courtyard and were met by a group of bikers from Yorkshire who were all extremely friendly, real characters and good comany. We were immediately attracted to the place. Adrian showed us our room, a split level barn which was fantastic, extremely comfortable and cosy.

The breakfasts were excellent and the company good. We have stayed in Arramances before and hope to do so again. Nothing was too much trouble and he was extremely knowledgeable on the area. There is only one place to stay ! I would have no hesitation in highly recommending it. Allan & Janice, Bury.

Stayed here at start of our driving trip around France. Initially had major issues trying to find it but the owner very kindly met us in the village and guided us in. It's a lovely quirky little hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The minute we were out our car there was beer put in our hands. We were given a choice of rooms which was a nice touch. Breakfast was just fab around a huge farmhouse table. Loved the atmosphere. There is a military tank in the courtyard which the owner got going much to the delight of my son. This place is absolutely fantastic value for money and a welcome distraction from the usual run of the mill tourist hotels

I stayed here with 2 other friends for 3 nights on a short biking trip to visit some of the D-Day sites. Adrian and Karen's mantra is to treat the place like your own home, which coupled with clean functional rooms and enormous breakfasts means I would challenge anyone not to enjoy a stay here. The rooms aren't really anything special, but the beds are very comfortable and everything is spotless. The communal lounge/dining room is huge with a massive dining table and a number of comfy chairs - both comfortable places to watch a movie on the wall (a projector is on the roof, but beware the light switches - ask if you get there!). The beer fridge in the yard was supplemented by calvados, if you like that, which I do! A plentiful cooked breakfast was washed down with gallons of tea (or coffee of course) making lunch all but redundant when out and about. Without a doubt the best value for money I have experienced anywhere, and well worth considering if a trip to this area, especially with a group of friends, is on your list of things to do.

I recently stayed at Normandy Beach (3-8 Oct) with a group of friends. We have all stayed a number of times in the past but this is the first time I have put fingers to keyboard to write a review. Simply put, Adrian and Karen run a great B & B. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is undercover parking for motorcycles and the court yard is also secure. The breakfasts are a real treat and it is so nice to sit and relax without being under pressure to be out by a certain time. Adrian (Karen was in the UK at the time of my stay) hasn't lost his touch in looking after his guests and it was a real pleasure to return and see that standards are as good as they were the last time I stayed.

I look forward to staying again soon and hopefully being able to bring my wife to show her what she has been missing when I have disappeared with the Cobra Club to Normandy :-)

Room Tip: All the rooms are comfortable.
