Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a night when we wanted to see some of the D-Day beaches.
The hotel is right in the center of Arromanches a few seconds away from the Museum. The views offered by our room were breathtaking!
The car park opposite charges from 09:00 to 18:00 at 50c per 15min. This is not so bad if you want secure parking overnight. We could see our car from our room.
Check in was quite swift, we arrived during lunchtime and the hotel has a large, popular restaurant which was busy. The guy who checked us in gave us all the information we needed and our room within about 5mins.
The room was fantastic. The decor is not of a modern style but it's by no means unpleasant. We had room 24 with the oriel tower facing the sea. Utter bliss!
We had the breakfast which was a perfect, well acquainted French petit dejeuner for 10 Euros each. The food was serves as a buffet which was very well stocked.
The hotel is a great place to center yourself for the D-Day beaches. within 30 minutes either way you will access most beaches and batteries on the Normandy coast
We are already planning a return trip where we will definitely be asking for room 24 againMore
