We have stayed here one night, on our way to Shenandoah. The room is decent and clean. A previous traveller has written about the restauarnt (Johnie Appleseed) and we decided to try, and were not disappinted, both for dinner (excellent and inexpensive) and breakfast (ok). The downside is that because of the restaurant there is no free continental breakfast. As for the room, we were located on the second floor, close to the exit, and unfortunately heard everyone who passed in the corridor, late night or early morning. Stay away from that area.

Since the 80's we have stayed at this hotel every trip we take up the East Coast. The restaurant is wonderful and the staff is friendly. We always try to plan our trips so we can include a stay or at the least a meal there. It is family friendly place and the apple fritters are the best.
