Le nid is the best hotel i have ever stayed in for the money, outstanding value, we had a huge apartment (3a) double bed and single bed in one room, double pull down bed and double pull out bed in the living room and there was only two of us,very large bathroom and a kitchenette.
we stayed there for 4 nights we ate there the first night and decided that it wasn't worth going anywhere else the food was that good everything we had was fantastic(4 course meal was 25 euros)we looked at the restaurants in town they were generally a lot more expensive there are some cheaper places but we didn't bother, the staff are really friendly people they even started breakfast at 6 am sunday morning so we could get to the f1 grand prix in time.
le nid is situated about 3km from durbuy so it is a long walk or short taxi but it is very quiet at night.this is where i will be staying for the next grand prix.a big thank you to all the staff.

Room Tip: 3a is very large and could sleep 7 but is up 1 flight of stairs there are ground floor rooms availab...

A very nice place where spent your vacation. Just 3 km from Durbuy, in a calm and silent area.
The personnel is very efficient and kind, the site and the rooms are clean. They have many rooms at different prices with different amenities (terrace, ground level etc.), so ask them for any needs you have. The restaurant is good and of course do not forget to taste Belgium beers. a suggestion? Maybe they should add a "dish of the day" to the menu, just to keep a "jolly" dish (useful if you stay there for more days).
Breakfast is great: one day they had all hotel full, but they were able to handle the situation in a very efficient way, so no item was missed at any moment.
Wifi quite efficient (sometimes we had to go on terrace to catch it, but we had no problems for our needs).

Great hotel, calm location at 3 km from Durbuy center.
Very calm and silent area, where you walk directly from the hotel into the wood for a nice walk.
Dogs are welcome in the rooms.
The restaurant menu is not that large but the food that's been served is excellent.
The fries they serve are home-made for instance.
Also the icecreams are very delicious.
Breakfast is buffet and offers a variety of fruit, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese, meet, and all kinds of sweet.
The staff is extreamly friendly!

This is a very accommodating hotel for families - with plenty of space, a great playground, and solid accommodations. The restaurant for dinner is quite good - with an excellent price / quality ration (I cannot say too many good things about Belgium cuisine - a hidden jewel), and the breakfast is healthy and fresh.

We stayed here two nights while traveling around the Ardennes. It's very charming inside and out. There's a lovely terrace with tables, and our room overlooked this. The room was quite spacious. We had twin beds, which were fairly narrow. There are plenty of electrical outlets, but no refrigerator. The bathroom was quite spacious, though there was little counter space. Perhaps a table adjacent to the sink would help. The shower worked well, but could have used a soap/bottle dish. Though it was one big room, there was a bed area and a large living room with two large stuffed chairs and two other chairs. There was a TV. There is free WiFi, though the signal is quite weak. We were told that this is true for the whole region. Since we had a MiFi with us, and the signal was equally as weak, this appears to be true.

The furnishing were very nice, and everything was clean and in good repair. There was plenty of lighting and very good storage space. There was a desk with a reading lamp on it.

There were gas radiators in the living room and bathroom which were fully controllable. There was a standing fan. There was also an electric kettle with coffee and tea. The bathroom had a hair dryer. They were generous with their towels.

The hotel has a dining room with a good menu. We ate there one evening, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room rate, and it was also quite nice. The woman who checked us in (the owner?) was extremely nice, and she spoke English (among other languages). She lent us a local map of the region and was very helpful.

The hotel is about five minutes away from central Durbuy, where there are many excellent places to eat, if you don't want to eat in the hotel.

The hotel is very charming in appearance. It is quite comfortable for an extended stay. It has its own parking lot (free). I highly recommend this lovely inn.
