This hotel is better than any of the pictures can show. It is what Granada is all about. The hotel is so beautiful. It is a quaint hotel with so many sides to it. First, the reception area with the bar to the left makes you feel very welcomed, Next the dining area with such nice atmosphere. The hall way going into the poll area. Upstairs is patio with a secluded wall for privacy. You cant tell it by the pictures but there is room for a least 16 people. The owners could not of done a better job with this place. It is absolutely perfect! First time I've ever felt that way. The restaurant inside is called Bocdllos and is just as good as the hotel. Way to go. Also, One block always from main square. Can not beat this location.

Room Tip: If you want to be right in front of pool stay done stairs. Want to be above pool and more private go...

This is a charming little place, priced reasonably. Location was very convenient for exploring this lovely town. Room was spacious, bathroom pleasent. Parking is external and chargable.
Breakfast was not that great, they bring you the plate which was not very aboundant for Nicaraguans standards..but it was tasty.

Pool is not really usable, very small and in constant shade, its more as a decor, so if you need a pool (i didnt) look elsewhere.

Overall very reccomended.

We stayed for four nights and got a great welcome. One of the owners, Terry, was extremely helpful with tips on what to do around Granada and her staff arranged transport and a guide. All the staff are brilliant (the night porter made us a 4am breakfast and the laundry service is fast and cheap). The bar is run by Shane and Corinna and their food and cocktails are superb. The rooms are good and have a safe. The pool is small but nice for a plunge on a hot day.
Two restaurants in the town have fabulous salads; El Garaje and Suenos. Try Imagine for nighttime live music. The Garden Cafe has an interesting shop and delicious smoothies.

Hotel Casa San Francisco is conveniently located and offers a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and the rooms and garden are beautiful. The bar and restaurant is managed by Shane, Corinna, Jenny and her husband and they are absolutely great hosts. The drinks are tasty and the tapas are a treat !

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the upper floor :-)

We fell in love with Casa San Francisco and its staff during our four-night stay. The rooms are good-sized, the bathrooms ample, and there are plenty of chairs to sit out on the balcony or by the pool. The staff helped us with several things, including finding us a great deal on a hotel in another city. The owners are friendly and full of information about life in Granada. Great location - an easy walk to most sites of interest. Good breakfast food. We would definitely stay here again. In fact, we really don't want to leave!

When a cliché is actually true. "A quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling town".
Well, that's what it is, and just two blocks away from the hyperactive center.
The hotel is lovely! Beautiful architecture, elegant furniture, superb bathroom, peace and quiet, a lovely pool in the patio, a rooftop with a nice view.
The service is excellent. The facilities are pristine. We had to change our reservation several times, and we were helped and accommodated each and every one of them, we had our laundry done in record time, and the hotel also arranged for an excursion with a local touring company.
We spent all of our last day at the hotel, just "chilling". It really is the ideal setting for that.
Great stay, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
My only regret, not having properly eaten at the Bocadillos restaurant. We only had snacks (pulled chicken arepa and yucca in a creamy garlic sauce) with our Nica Libres, and they were positively delicious.

This hotel was located in a safe and convenient, yet quiet place. The staff was very welcoming, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was hearty (you could chose from 2 breakfasts: gallo pinto and eggs, HUGE bowl of fruit and juice.) The pool is small but quaint and nice place to cool off. The hotel is within walking distance of the center (about 5 minutes).

Bocadillos is the small bar that is within this small hotel. The owners are wonderful and they speak English and Spanish.Happy Hour is from 3-6pm. They have two for one specials on their cocktails. I believe we got 4 cocktails, 2 appetizers and yucca chips for $12.
