Description: Cafe de Arte is a full service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is fresh and innovative. The indoor garden is a beautiful place to enjoy a meal and you can wonder about the art center to see art work by various artists. The staff is friendly and the prices are some of the lowest in town. This is a true gem in the center of Granada.

“Food was not vey good”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

We ate here in Feb 2014. I ordered the fish fillet. It arrived lightly breaded and was barely cooked through. Didn't really enjoy it, and I had a taste of it for 2 days afterwards. Would not go back here.

“Lovely dinner in beautiful setting”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Nice location just off Calzada, very good corvina in tammarind sauce, quiet spot surronded by local art. Service here is very good, Danny our waiter is professional and also speaks English.

“Colonial House tour on the menu”
Reviewed February 13, 2014

Now this is a pretty place for breakfast and lunch. It's bedecked with paintings and easels, charming tables and noticeboards of information, more a club than cafe. It is also the starting point for a Colonial House Tour taken every Tuesday morning by volunteers who have the entree to some of Granada's most historic lived-in buildings. Your tour fee pays for free libraries set up by American emigres for Nicaraguan children, and is not to be missed. One of the city 's best tours, unique to the excellent Cafe de Arte.

“My Go-To Breakfast Place”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

I decided to explore different places for breakfast, but wound up returning to Cafe de Arte twice more in a week, because they did best the breakfast I most enjoy. It's not exactly what's on the menu, but the kitchen had no trouble producing two eggs scrambled with little bits of brightly colored fresh veggies and a bowl of cut-up fresh fruit. Unlike other breakfast places I tried, this one actually removed the seeds from the watermelon pieces, which made working my way through the fruit a much more enjoyable experience. Fresh juice completed my breakfast and I left each time feeling satisfied, having eaten exactly the right-sized breakfast to last me until mid-afternoon. The setting is attractive, restful and quiet, there are ceiling fans to keep one cool and I never felt rushed while eating here. The staff were friendly and helpful and remembered what I wanted to order after the second visit. I'm sure I will be back at Cafe de Arte on future trips to Granada.
