I've been traveling through Nicaragua for some weeks and sometimes I treat myself; well, for the price is a mediocre, crampy hotel I've stumbled upon this colonial gem in the center of Granada... The owner renovate this old colonial building, stuffed it with art from Central America and Asia (I was in doubt about this combination, but it worked surprisingly well....) and it happened that he just opened for customers.
You can spend your money for a so-so room in one of the hotels in Granada, but you can better spend your money on this place here (there are 3 suites); it's luxe, they have private Jacuzzi's and there is a nice swimming pool!!!!! Spend there 3 nights and I wish I had more money to stay there for a month… Also very good part: it’s just round the corner of the Calzada, where the action is, but the only noise you will hear are the airco and birds in the morning!
The bed was the BEST in whole Nicaragua!!! The place was very clean, the BBQ we used was clean the next day and I could use their washing machine. I was told that you actually can rent the whole house, but we made good friends with the other guest.More
