“Fun time!”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

We did the canopy tour in the afternoon ,after doing the trail el Puma in the Mombacho volcano. I recommend to do it this way, so you're not running time from the trail and you can appreciate the beautiful sunset from the canopy tour. I also recommend that you tell your guide at the Mombacho that you want to schedule a tour at the canopy so they arrange it for you and make sure you have time to do it. It's good to know to it close quite early at 4PM because days are shorter there.
The canopy tour is done in a beautiful environment: coffee plantation. While going to the departure of the tour, the very friendly staff explains you about coffee process.
Then the canopy tour starts. It's amazing sensation to fly between the trees. The vegetation is very lush. We also were pleased to see beautiful parrots. The staff makes the experience very unique and save. There is always someone before and after you, so you fell very safe.

“Fabulous fun”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Total fun, Extremely safe and professional. They tailored the adventure to the level you wanted (I went slow, my son went fast). Beautiful views. Follow the canopy tour with lunch and hike in the Mombacha volcano around the crater for beautiful views.

“Best Canopy on Mombacho Volcano”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I have gone canopying twice on Mombacho Volcano.

This trip I went to Cafe Las Flores Canopy. Its a great course. Not only do you canopy between trees but you also walk across a high wire between the trees, swing between the trees (like Tarzan), and then propel down from the final tree. The guides are great, most are bilingual. After you are done they drive you back up to the Cafe.

We paid $115 (US Dollars) for four people.

If someone in your group is not interested in canopying they can hang out of the coffee shop and enjoy a drink or they explore a little museum where they can sample some coffee and see the coffee beans in different stages.

The views are amazing as you canopy and from the coffee shop as well.

“Loads of fun.”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

The tour is very professionally done with fully bilingual guides who have the ability to make it a fun experience. It was over much too fast. Highly recommended. We took the bus right from Granada and the total cost was a reasonable $70 for both of us. Don't forget to leave a tip in the tip box at the end of the last zip line..
