Casa Cubana is beautifully appointed and everything is done with taste and thoughtfulness. Everything is absolutely immaculate and Uli is the consummate host and very accommodating.

I recently spent the weekend at Casa Cubana and it was wonderful. The house itself has been beautifully restored and is a stunning example of the colonial style that makes Granada so unique. It is within walking distance to everything within the city, but just far enough out of the centre to provide a peaceful place to relax by the pool after a day of exploring. The rooms were huge, clean and well appointed. Uli, the owner, was an excellent host, and Hazel the chef prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. I look forward to returning to Granada and to Casa Cubana!

We were 4 friends and we stayed there one week ago for three nights and it was amazing.
The idea was to stay only one night and 20 minutes after arriving in this beautiful house we decided to stay two more nights. We have been welcomed by the owner, Uli, and he has been the nicest person from the beginning to the end.
The place is beautiful, the rooms are amazing and the house is just designed perfectly. You feel like at home. And the breakfast is really good.
We had a perfect time with the owner, Uli, talking, sharing experiences, drinking and eating.
Nothing else to say, if you want to feel like at home in a small and beautiful guesthouse and meet amazing people than stay at Casa Cubana!!

We just got back from a few nights in Granada at Casa Cubana and it was GREAT! Uli (the owner) is an awesome host and has put together an incredible place to stay. Casa Cubana was immaculate and super-clean. We won't look to stay anywhere else in Granada the next time we go. Casa Cubana is within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Uli also has great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We brought our 19 month old child with us and had a wonderful time. Thanks Uli!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Saffron Room and it was superb!

My wife surprised me with a trip to Nicaragua for my 40th birthday. Casa Cubana, or more those who operate it, was the highlight of the trip. A driver they arranged awaited at the airport. Cool drinks awaited our arrival. The house itself is nice from the outside but walk into the courtyard, see the pool and the garden and you might not want to see the rest of Granada. The owner, who often is not there, was a pleasure to speak with and became a friend as we sipped wine in the pool during the heat of the day. The manager made breakfast that almost left you not needing lunch but looking forward to the next morning. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well thought out. The communal areas are exquisite. Thankfully, it is a few blocks away from the town center which can be a bit noisy late into the night. The few minute walk was perfect and felt completely safe even late at night. Great suggestions for excursions were given. We hiked a volcano, swam in another, crawled into bat caves and ate some amazing food. Then, we fell into bed each night a Casa Cubana, slept soundly, had a great breakfast the next morning . . . . and did it all again!

Room Tip: I cannot remember the name but were we in the one upstairs room and, if you can handle one flight of...

Casa Cubana is a stylish Boutique guesthouse where I definitely want to go back to. Hopefully it won't be too long!! Everything is arranged and placed neatly and furniture and decorative items were very well chosen. The small pool surrounded by gorgeous tropical plants and a few hammocks is a dreamy place. Staff is very kind and Amanda, the host, is a darling. She is kind, helpful and very professional. I felt very good there and I wish them all the very best.
