Description: Nectar Restaurant & Bar is located on Calle La Calzada, a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Granada's historic colonial downtown. Located only 1/2 block East (towards the Lake) of Parque Central & the main Cathedral, our street-side dining offers up the best people watching around while our beautiful covered courtyard provides some peaceful respite from Granada's hustle and bustle. We've got you covered for whatever mood your in. We delight in offering a menu featuring some traditional Nicaraguan fare (Enchiladas, Tostones con Queso, Ropa Vieja and more), wonderful organic salads, tasty ceviche, fish tacos, burritos & homemade desserts, including Cheesecake, Flan de Coco and our world famous Lava Cake. ALL of our rum cocktails are made with Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum, never the cheap stuff. We also offer up some local Craft Beer, made available by our friends at La Portena in San Juan Del Sur as well as Campo Brew Co. out of Tola. We source all our products locally and shop daily to ensure we have the freshest of the fresh. And perhaps most importantly, our staff is the real thing-- warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Hard-working Nicaraguan hospitality at its very best! Be sure to check out our 2x1 Happy Hour from 3-6 Daily or stop by and enjoy our below zero beer. Perfect for those hot Granada days!

Do not miss this restaurant when traveling to Granada. We ate there several times, lunch and dinner. There is a peaceful cool spot in the courtyard escaping the heat and activity of the Calzada. And fun outdoor seating to enjoy the action and nightlife of the Calzada. I loved the Sangria and iced cold Tona. Favorite foods included cerviche with fresh plaintain chips, goat cheese tower and fish tacos. The tortilla soup is not to be missed! Finish off with the most delicious chocolate molten cake ever. Enjoy

Prime location on the strip, nice to sit and people watch but be prepared to be interrupted a lot by street kids begging as well as street vendors. Good service, average food (we had appetizers and drinks). Could see the tastiness being dependent on what is ordered so give it a try. Nachos not so good, chicken fingers tasty and goat cheese appie ok. White sangria so so.

A very good place, located in the calle 'La Calzada', you can sit outside in the street and watch people passing by or you can sit in the clean and nicely maintained inside garden/court. Service is really perfect and so are the prices. The drinks, especially Sangria, is really worth the visit. Food is also delicious and very good for the price.

Nectar has really impressed me the past few times I have been for Happy Hour! Their service has always been great, the staff there knows me by name and are always smiling and welcoming.
The menu has changed recently, there are some new items that weren't on it before. The prices are still reasonable and you get good quality compared to other spots on the Calzada that have raised prices but not done much else.
I ordered off the Happy Hour menu and was pleased with my Nachos. The 2 x 1 drinks are tasty and strong, they definitely don't skimp on the pour!
The outdoor seating and interior courtyard make Nectar a great place to spend the late afternoon and evening.
I will be visiting them again soon to try the fish tacos!
