Description: Nectar Restaurant & Bar is located on Calle La Calzada, a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Granada's historic colonial downtown. Located only 1/2 block East (towards the Lake) of Parque Central & the main Cathedral, our street-side dining offers up the best people watching around while our beautiful covered courtyard provides some peaceful respite from Granada's hustle and bustle. We've got you covered for whatever mood your in. We delight in offering a menu featuring some traditional Nicaraguan fare (Enchiladas, Tostones con Queso, Ropa Vieja and more), wonderful organic salads, tasty ceviche, fish tacos, burritos & homemade desserts, including Cheesecake, Flan de Coco and our world famous Lava Cake. ALL of our rum cocktails are made with Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum, never the cheap stuff. We also offer up some local Craft Beer, made available by our friends at La Portena in San Juan Del Sur as well as Campo Brew Co. out of Tola. We source all our products locally and shop daily to ensure we have the freshest of the fresh. And perhaps most importantly, our staff is the real thing-- warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Hard-working Nicaraguan hospitality at its very best! Be sure to check out our 2x1 Happy Hour from 3-6 Daily or stop by and enjoy our below zero beer. Perfect for those hot Granada days!

“Great cocktails”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

We had the happy hour cocktails, and the Mai Tai and the Mojito were delicious. They also have 50% off appetizers as part of happy hour but we missed out. The outdoor dining was great, and the big chairs were very relaxing. But sitting outside means you do get a lot of the locals coming up trying to sell you there wares.

“Great crepes, good people watching, very comfortable place”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

We've made 2 trips to Granada, soon a third, and this is one of the places we know to return to every visit. I really likes the crepes, and of course the prices are cheap by US comparisons. Excellent service, and caring staff. Don't miss it! If you sit outside you will have a great people watching experience, but the inside is more restful. This place is best for lunch or dinner, one of Granada's best.

“Best Mojitos in town”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

Nectar has by far the best coctails in town. The use Flor de Cana premium rom for the coctailes..Thats why they look a bit more expensive than all the other bars on calzada...This bars use only second of third quality rom for drinks and happy hours...Its well worth to spent a bit more and have a nice coctail. Staff is very friendly. Food is pretty good i also like the inside patio so you can enjoy drinks and food without begging kinds and street vendors like on calzade. I will be back

“Very friendly service ”
Reviewed November 12, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I went here twice for a midday break from the heat. The menu is nicely varied, but we didn't actually eat much. What we did order was delicious. What impressed me most was our server Juan. During our first visit I commented on how nice it was to hear some good Latino music, mentioning how much we liked Cuban music. He immediately went inside and put some on. When we reappeared a week later, he obviously remembered because the music changed to Cuban shortly after we sat down.
We would definitely go for a dinner if we had more time in the city.

Stopped in quickly for cold smoothies and use of free wifi to find a room. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive.
