If you need a break from Nica food, this is the restaurant for you! This is the best lunch we've had in ages--from any location. The couple cooks creative combinations of food which are delicious. I ordered an grilled marinated eggplant sandwich which had capers, arugula and goat cheese on whole wheat bread, and loved it. My other family members had meat sandwiches that they also enjoyed. The service was excellent, the place light and clean. If we were staying longer in Granda we certainly would have returned for another great meal.

a cool clean interior space just a few streets off the main tourist strip...It has a good 'neighborhood' feel to it. The owners are very friendly and the food is fresh, tasty and an interesting fusion of local and international cuisine.

The couple that prep, cook and serve the food are professional and friendly. Because there is no other staff, we know our food is clean and never handled by a disgruntled employees. They have a set menu and a varying menu. The food can be a bit spicy, which I find as a good thing. They have vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. When you are tired of the food that all tastes the same on Calle Calzada, this is a refreshing change! Things to know, it is run solely by a couple so is only open M-F lunch, afternoon and early dinner (I think you have to be seated by 6 or 6:30). It is small, so there may be no seating, so late lunches and early dinners work best. If like me, second hand smoke is not something you like with your meal, snag the table by the big double doors and position your fan appropriately. Most people respect the small area and wait to smoke til they leave...but not all...

We had two times a lunch, freshly prepared by the Dutch couple that owns the place.
There is a wide choice of meals and the quality is excellent, so is the service.
The atmosphere is lovely, a lot of the decorative artifacts are made by the owners or their family.
The seating is inside but open to the back of the property, the place looks spic and span.
Granada and this restaurant are within easy reach from the San Simian Eco Lodge where we stayed at the time..
