This place provides breakfast for free with coffee which is great to start the day. There are many restrooms around the facility, hammocks, a pool, and internet. The staff will help you plan transportation and tours if you want. My friends and I stayed for two nights and had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Hostel Oasis Granada
This place is wonderful. It has the perfect location, decor, amenities, and atmosphere. It’s by far the best place I’ve stayed during my entire stay in Central America. I can stretch out this review, but nothing can be said that hasn’t already been said or captured in the photos (AAA+ low budget accommodations).

Helpful and friendly spot, huge hostel with lots of people in and out every day. Attracts all types of crowds, younger backpackers, older couples, young families. Great spot to meet new people. They arrange all types of tours and transport for you.

Rooms and dorms are a bit pricy, but they have free refillable water, wifi, multiple computers on-site, unlimited free pancake and fruits breakfast, and more.

The pool is perfect after a long day! And the place may be not so clean, but that is no fault of the hostel because they have staff cleaning all day long.

Dorm was $9 a night. Private rooms are $20 without an bathroom or $28 with.

as the name implies, this is a wonderful little respite in the middle of the city. unassuming from the outside, you pass the front desk into an open air garden surrounded by hammocks; go a little further to find a small - very clean - pool in another open air area. the rooms are some of the cleanest I stayed in. i'm pretty sure there is someone on staff that just mops all day. free filtered water, breakfast and coffee are all included in the price. even having a private room with a private bathroom, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. the strictly enforced quiet time from 11pm to 7am is a bonus for the tired adventurer as well. I will definitely stay here when I return.

Helpful, friendly people everywhere. Lots of computers to use, coffee all the time, central location. Just a perfect hostel experience. Hammocks swaying, plenty of chairs with coffee tables, big sunny atrium in the middle, open aired and lovely.

Room Tip: No hot water in any rooms, the windows are all left open but we were back away from the street and h...

This place is one of the best hostels I have stayed in over my three month trip. It is a large building, well looked after with really nice murals on the walls. It offers more than I have ever got for the dorm room price including a swimming pool, free breakfast, free international phone calls, free computers, wifi, free water, and a kitchen. The place is owned by a friendly lady who knows how to do things right. It is spotlessly clean, enormously comfortable and extremely well run. With everything from Hammocks in the green courtyard, rocking chairs in the hallway and large tables for big group meals this place has everything. A perfect base to explore from and a haven if you feel like staying put and having a break from the hustle bustle of travelling.

I stayed here twice and really enjoyed my stay the first time. The room was large, clean and had plenty of fans (a must in Granada). The cost was $9USD a night and includes breakfast. There is wifi in the commons, a decent book exchange and a small pool. Also they really promote the fact that you can call home for 10 minutes-which seems like a strange bonus in 2014 but still nice to offer.

The second time I stayed I was immediately put off by my welcome, she was so different from the amazing staff I had encountered before. Days later I found out she was actually the owner. She wasn't rude per se just not friendly and very dismissive. She walked us to a dorm room and said 'pick a bed based on the available locker you can find and then tell the reception staff'-and walked out. But given the size of the hostel its understandable that it could be overwhelming for the staff at times.

This time the room was a little less nice, in the front and not enough fans. But still large and clean, and not too hot at night-but not quite comfortable.

My real question is regarding the hostel's policy towards individuals from Central America. Is it true that they are not allowed to stay in the hostel? I had hoped to make this my regular spot to stay in when in Granada (great location, good amnesties, social but not a party hostel) but I will not support a business with such policies. We know the owners read this so can we get a response-can individuals with passports from Central American countries stay at this establishment?

Hi, yes it was me who led your small group into the dorm and yes , it was quite hectic . I do not recall being "not nice" about allowing you to choose your bed rather than choosing one for you (I thought I was doing something extra for you for letting you choose..) I have sent you a Private Message, and in Oasis we do not discriminate against any nationality, but do keep our right of admission. Thank you for your review.
