I love this hostel! I felt so convenient there - with all the hammocks, the clean (!) pool and the chilling areas. You get free pancakes and fruits in the morning and the staff is really friendly. I spent 5 instead of 3 nights there. A simple but really good hostel with dorms and rooms for a fair price.

The hostel was great - the pool is fantastic in hot Granada and it's only a short and pretty safe walk into town. The staff were really friendly and spoke great English ( we speak shockingly bad Spanish so this was great!) Bathrooms were clean and private room was quiet, had mosquito netting over the window and a fan which was great. Also, the courtyard was nice and was a good few degrees cooler than the rest of Granada. The only thing was we had two shockingly bad tours with Eric tours who Oasis books with - I can't seem to find Eric tours on Trip Advisor, so sorry to leave this as a comment on Oasis, but they were awful - Our night tour of the volcano was changed without notice to an afternoon tour by visiting the market after the volcano, which meant the markets were shut by the time we got there, we were rushed through the volcano stuff and even though the tour was just my partner and me, they wouldn't stop at look outs and said there was no time to do half of the things promised on their flyer. And to top it off, the driver hit a cyclist on the way out to the volcano. Oasis is great, but book somewhere else for the tours. Oh and the pancakes are delicious!

Room Tip: The private rooms are a little on the small side, but have a lot of locker furniture to help get you...

This hostel is good, free pancake breakfast, good location, DVDs and hammocks to chill out, unfortunately the staff really let it down for us, they seemed uninterested an annoyed by us, generally finishing personal conversations and phone calls before serving us and making most of us feel a little unwelcome. This place has the feel of somewhere that has become popular so they've dropped the ball a little. Also the kitchen was good but the fridge was absolutely full of mould.

Decent place to stay, always nice to have a pool....but the best part by far is their very well-organized and cheap transportation to Laguna de Apoyo. Also helpful in transportation to other main Nica attractions, Volcan Momabacho just to name one.

I stay at this hostel every time i visit Grenada. I always get a private room for around $10.00. The single rooms are clean with good beds. this hostel offers hammocks in the center open air court yard garden to relax in during the day, dorm rooms for both male and female. a classic old world building with the typical 3 ft thick spanish walls all around the outside, and thick decorated hard wood doors to all the rooms around the inner part of the court yard all facing the inner garden. this is a very relaxing setting with great wifi, kitchen area, coffee and rolls in the morning, plenty of space to sit around and relax and meet other guests around the garden. I just cannot say enough about the relaxing setting and the friendly staff. very clean and quiet location just minutes walk from center of town.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the entrance are a bit quieter.

This hostel has a really lovely courtyard area with many many hammocks, great for chilling. The pool is smallish but nice. Breakfast decent. The free phone call home is a nice touch. There was some work happening so no running water for a half day when we arrived which was a shame. Our private room was really small and stuffy. perhaps the dorms are nicer? Would be reasonably happy to stay here again.
Far better than Oasis though was the hostel's sister place on the crater lake just outside Granada, I think it is called Hostel Paradiso. There is a discounted shuttle and nightly rate for Oasis guests. It was quiet when we were there and one of the best places of our whole 6 week trip across Central America. There is a beach on the crater, free kayaking, great swimming and a decent bar. Would love to be back there!

I stayed here while visiting Granada and the staff was always willing to help, had answers, helped me book day trips to surrounding places and very friendly! Great hostel to meet other travlers. I really enjoyed the city of Granada lots of cool places near by to visit the oat tour of the Islets, Lago de Apoyo is a must too! I really enjoyed the pool at Oasis it gets pretty Hot in this city! So it was refreshing to chill in the pool especially at night!
