“Please get rid of those veggies!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

We have eaten twice at this restaurant in the last two weeks.

The ambiance is very nice - and that is why we returned the second time.

On our first visit there were two of us. One order was the mixed skewer of meats, which was quite good and the second order was the sweet and sour chicken, which was sweet but no sour - not an interesting choice. The entres came with rice and a vegetable medley in a sauce. The veggie sauce and the sweet and sour sauces certainly conflicted!

We returned the second time with friends who enjoy a romantic ambiance, and this the restaurant does provide. We decided to give the food a second chance.

Fish was on the menu but when one person ordered a fish dish we were told there was no fresh fish available. It would have been nice to know that before we spent time perusing the menu and making choices! The revised orders included salad; bruschetta; a chicken skewer dish; pineapple shrimp served in a squash shell; lasagna and sushi.

The salads are huge and delicious. Too large for one person ordering a meal as well but just perfect for sharing. The chicken skewer was good. The pineapple shrimp was okay. The lasagna was heated up in the dish it was served in and came away from the the casserole dish with one stab of the fork. The sushi was one roll - a very small portion - but apparently tasty. Bread was included with the meal. The bruschetta looked good. The identical saucy vegetable medley was again served with the skewer and pineapple shrimp dishes. Again conflicting sauces on the same plate.

The service was good. The ambiance is still very nice, but we probably will not return until we hear the veggie medley has been removed from the plates and the food gets a better review. There are other restaurants in town with much better food.

(Yes, I am 'hung up' on that saucey vegetable medley. There are so many lovely vegetables available here that the cook would be better serving them freshly cooked rather than in a sauce that probably sits in a pot for the day, just waiting to be scooped onto a plate.)

“Good food, great ambience”

Very nice place with good food. Lots of New Age atmosphere and some creative dishes. Everyone liked everything they tried. If I lived there I would eat there often.

“Excellent food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

This is the best restaurant we have visit during our 2-weeks stay in Nicaragua! The food is really good and the have a mix of different types of international food, ranging from sushi to pasta and tapas. Also, the interior design was kind of special and there was a lot of things to look at from different parts of the world. The service was good and they were very attentive!

“Best restaurant in Nicaragua so far”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

This restaurant deserves a much higher ranking. It's the overall best restaurant so far we've been to in Nicaragua (been traveling for 2 weeks). The tapas felt a bit expensive in relation to the other dishes so we went for one pasta- and one fish-main. Both were excellent. They serve a vareity of food, but I would never eat sushi in a non-japanese restaurant. The molten-chocolate dessert was extremely good too :) The service was fast and attentive, and we did not wait overly long for the food, which is otherwise common in Nicaragua.

“Jack of all cuisines, master of none!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

We went there once after a recommendation by fellow travellers. it was difficult to find an appropriate table. The place was dark, you could hardly see what you were eating! The menu had everything and seem to specialise in nothing! We had sushi, my husband is a sushi chef. He was not impressed and I left the restaurant, half hungry!
