Beautiful little hotel in a over 600 year old building. Located in central Granada. The hotel is not right on the main street of all the action, so it is quiet to sleep at night. Only a 5-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. 24hours gate guard. Breakfast is included which consists of coffee or tea, orange juice, fresh fruit, and a huge croissant with homemade guava jam. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They booked us a couple tours around Granada and the surrounding area, also negotiating us a lower price. Also have transfers to the Managua Airport for $40 (a 50 minute drive). The rooms have A/C, cable TV, and free WiFi, but the WiFi was patchy for us. Only complaint would be the lack of hot water since there is no water heater in the 600 year old building. Shower is not bad though once you get in, actually refreshing since it is so hot in Granada! Hotel is decorated with art pieces from local artists that are all for sale. We would definately stay here again! Very good value!

This is a great little hotel. Prices were reasonable, staff were very friendly and accommodating, rooms were very clean. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area of town within easy walking distance of the main square. There was a complimentary breakfast of juice, coffee, croissant, and fruit. I couldn't rate it excellent due to the following: the rooms are dark-- some have a small window, some have no window (this is due to the colonial architecture), and no hot water (which is very common in Nicaragua). Even so, if I return to Granada I will definitely be staying here.

This is a small B&B well located in central Granada. The rooms were basic and somewhat clean. The duvet cover was in need of a wash. The room I stayed in had a small window to let light in otherwise the room would be pitch dark. There's nothing wrong with the place, it provides basic accommodation, no luxuries expected here. The outside of the house has all the character that's lacking inside, but the staff are helpful. So if you want a basic, no fuzz accommodation this will be the place to stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Terrasol. We spent 5 days in Granada and the surrounding area near the start of our trip, and even stayed one more night there after returning from Ometepe (on our way to the north). The location was perfect for us- a few blocks away from the Cathedral square and the main tourist area, so we could easily walk there when we wanted to....but it was tucked away in a quieter/safe neighborhood, and easy to "get away from the crowd."

Like many people have said before, the owners (Victor and Katya) were excellent hosts. They were typically around each morning, and were very accommodating. Depending on your travel style, they were willing to help you with transportation arrangements or find a tour company to set up a trip...or simply answer questions and offer advice about where to get the best currency exchange rate, bus routes/locations, where to go in the market to find certain things, and how best the explore the area on your own terms. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well, even helping me get some clothes tailored on short notice. Cold beer was always close-at-hand, and they even humored me, letting me practice my Spanish with them. Couldn't have been better.

The rooms are a bit small, but they're comfortable...a very good bargain. With the heat, we were glad to have a window and a fan, and in the cooler evenings, we made sure to sit out on the communal balcony and take in the views. The on-site restaurant was only serving breakfast at the time- but that was a good start to each day. Large croissant, coffee, mixed fruit, and homemade guava jelly- light meal, but very tasty! We would definitely recommend Terrasol to our traveling friends, and hope to stay there again, if/when we go to Granada again. Thanks!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a window and fan, otherwise you may want AC. The balconies are nice, but only two rooms have them.

Victor and Katya and excellent hosts and provide good visitors' advice on what to see and do. The small hotel is well-decorated and clean. Breakfast area is, too. But most rooms are very small and most have no window. Location is near center of town but quiet. Can arrange good tours. Continental breakfast isn't much either, tiny pieces of fruit, coffee, tea or juice and a pastry.
I had reserved 9 rooms for 12 people, but only 8 were available upon arrival. All rooms have one double bed. Rooms are much too small to add an extra bed. But a very friendly and helpful staff.

Room Tip: The only two rooms I'd recommend are the two rooms on front of second floor of which each has window and door to a small balcony overlooking the street. Others were too small and without windows.

Dear Richard
We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our little Hotel, yes we are small and 2 of the rooms do not have a window to the outside due to city regulations, You did change your reservation twice and had told us that only 8 rooms were nedded , we have never left anyone without a room, we honor reservations even when we have been left with empty rooms.
Most of our guests agree that for the price value provided the breakfast is more than enough.
Thank you for mentioning the high level of customer service that we provide, we do take great pride in the service we provide.
We truly hope we can help you in any way that we can in the future and make your stay a more pleasant one.
Thank you again for choosing our humble little Hotel for your stay.
Sincerely
Victor and Katya
