This was exactly what we wanted from a beach to stay at; a bungalow ten seconds walk from the beach. it is a narrow sand beach at high tide and not a party beach, as others have commented. It is quite long, we walked along it a few times and we actually never got to the far end. Not as overpopulated as White Sands but still with quite a few people who are staying in the resorts right on the beach. Mostly Russian tourists, rather to my bemusement.
I do not understand the people calling it rocky though, I didn't see many rocks at all, there were a few strips of dead coral, that might be what they meant, but i didn't mind them as the give a low tide beach more interesting ecology than straight sand and it also gave me a bit of a snorkel on the days we were too lazy to go out to one of the better snorkelling spots.
Porn's bar further up the beach is the perfect place to watch the sun set, sip a pinacolada and then order a yummy mean while reclining on cushions on the floor, or possibly in one of the hammocks.
