We stayed there for 15 days...The staff is not the friendliest but when you get to know them you realise that these are persons who work 20 hours a day and doing the best they can!We had a great stay with 2 young children. The room we stayed at was a little bit more expensive that it should since the resort doesn't have any "5 star services" .

I stayed here for two nights excellent location with reasonable accommodation. The only thing that really let's the place down are the male staff, I don't expect to be waited on like I'm at a five star resort but it became almost comical by the end. I think if you are a group of girls you may receive a very different service, but otherwise its awful. Expect to be point blank ignored quite often and get used to going to the service hatch to get food, bills etc

Rooms are good and an ok price. The beach is lovely and the bar food and drinks price is good. However, if you are a couple of single ladies expect the best service ever from prompt food arrival to free buckets. Travelling in a couple, family or you are a man- enjoy watching Thai men sleaze over girls whilst ignoring your order. All female staff great but the majority of waiters are guys and generally couldn't give two hoots if you are wilting away through hunger!

The rooms were dirty, the cheapest rooms are hard to get to at the back of the resort right next to the road an the very loud neighbours, yes the beach itself was beautiful but the arrogant, unhelpful, egotistic slimy bar staff made me three night stay an anxious and scary time. As two female travellers looking for a relaxing escape the unwanted attention from the bar staff was annoying and the laughter and jokes about drugs and the continued encouragement to drink..even offering free cocktails all night were made in such a way that we both felt very unsafe. This occurred thought breakfast lunch and dinner time, On our last night one of the bar tenders came an knocked on our door at two am. We didnt answer. We made it very clear we were not interested in any attention to the point of being rude as no one could take a hint. We Do not recommend nature resort. The staff weren't the only problem but the defiantly were the biggest.

Room Tip: Just don't!

placed at the beach and for every budget. I tooked the bungalow in front with a view to the ocean. very nice and a nice sunset. the food in the open restarant was also not bad at all.
the only bad thing I can say is that the whole staff never smile. this is really uncommon for Thailand.

Put off immediately by front desk service. We had 4 small carryons with us and not once did the front desk lady offer to help as she led us to our rooms. We were dismissed rather quickly and treated in a very thoughtless manner.

Courtesy and service skills in restaurant very poor, general cleanliness especially around the canal needs to be stepped up. Mediocre food, prices ok.

Verdict: Pick another place to spend your time and money. Plenty of options closer to lonely beach that offer accom at the same price but with much better service and food.

For budget travelers, Nature Beach is a dream come true. It is true that the restaurant does not have resort status service and a towel deposit is required. But for people used to paying for private hostel rooms in mainland Thailand or Cambodia or another island in the area, this place is awesome!

The concrete rooms a bit further away from the sand are newer and better (in my opinion). Bathrooms and rooms are simple but clean. I thought the price was exceptionally reasonable for beachfront property on one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches I've been to in Southeast Asia. The restaurant staff may not smile, but the bartenders always do ;) and will insist you play games with them, dance, and otherwise have a great time. Restaurant food was good, varied, and cheap enough that I barely left Nature Beach during my visit there.

I was looking for a more remote, secluded beach and found it here. I had just been to Koh Samed which was crawling with tourists. Nature Beach was booked up, but the beach was not crowded. I liked that. Lovely sand, clean water. We rented a kayak for an hour for $3 USD and paddled around peacefully. They are some of my best memories of my trip these past five weeks in the area.

If you are looking to be pampered at a *real* resort, this may not be the place for you, fair enough. If you're a budget traveler who brings your own towel (or won't balk at renting one) this is a GREAT value for a truly beautiful and relaxing stay. I hunted around and saw inside the other rooms in the area and this is by far the best value.

Room Tip: Concrete bungalows a bit further away from the water are newer and better (still less than a 3 minut...
