alk approx 10 minutes through the jungle and you will reach this nice waterfall. There is a nature swimming pool in front of it where you can cool down from a hot Thai day. It as so nice to finally bath or swim in freshwater again. Try to avoid the masses even dough this is very hard. Entry fee is 200 Baht. When travelling with a scooter or a car, park with the Rangers office and do not stop at the first women yelling "Stop, stop parking" at you. When you park with her, you have to pay a parking fee other than with the Rangers office where parking is free!

Really enjoyed the waterfall experience....an impressive spectacle and the sights and sounds of the jungle are all around. Unlike many commentators I was personally disappointed not to have seen the epic King Cobra vs. Reticulated Python battle that other recent visitors witnessed....aahh well...next time perhaps!

I was staying in Kai Bae on Koh Chang and decided to go check out a local waterfall. It is in a national park so foreigners must pay 200 baht entrance fee, while Thais pay 60 baht.

From the parking area it is a moderate 500 meter hike up to the falls with very little elevation gain. It is worth going if you want to swim. The pool at the base of the falls is quite deep and filled with very cool and refreshing water. There are also some large fish (30cm) swimming around in there which will nibble at your feet if you sit idle for long enough.

Overall, I think it is worth the price and hike.

When you visit the waterfall, it's like going back in time......There is a wonderful walk to the waterfall.......It's like trekking through the jungle, but, there is a stone and soil path and directions to guide you............There are also information plaques, along the path, referencing the trees and flowers........There are a couple of areas, you can stop and take in the stunning views.......There is also a small lake and you can see the fish, dart about......Actually, I sat beside the lake and put my feet in and felt the fish, nibble at my toes.......Anyway, after the lake, you are nearly at the waterfall, which is a stunning site to behold......Sometimes, you would have people swimming in the water, below the fall itself.......I have to admit, I am one of them........It was a Fantastic day out.......My Wife and I, had a great time there........

Wow, what a surprise this was. A lovely track up to the waterfall, and in the humidity, the pool was very inviting.Loved the experience.
