This place is far removed from the beaten path.
It is simple, cheap (all huts 200-250 B), but somehow capture the essential Thai experience from 10-15 years ago. You will find kindred soul, if you are so inclined.
I stay in this beach for 4-5 days. It was very relaxing visit. I was there in March 2009. The ocean is relatively clean, but every day new plastic garbage comes in from whoknowswhere (Cambodia?) The food is just fine at this place, there is one other place down the beech, but the is no reason to go there.
If you looking for anything more than basic, basic- this is not place for you!!
I think that non of the huts have shower or toilet inside, but it was fine with me and most
of the travelers. The only way to get there is to get songtaw at Lonely beach Treehouse restaurant. It leaves once a day, Thai time. There is massage available. Night live will depend on you. The CD selection at the restaurant is quite good.More
