Very nice place to stay in Koh Chang. Friendly staff, with good coffee and laundry service. Feels like living in a mini village with the little comfy houses together. Every house has terras outside with a table and seats where you can sit smoke read drink a beer of have coffee in the morning. Good beds, good wifi. Airconditioning works great. In the morning very early you can bump into a monkey or a overenthousiatic rooster who thinks every hour is waking up hour so bring some earplugs.
No noise from the bars but still only 3 minutes walking towards the beach or clubs nearby. For live music, laid back, cosy seats and a fire show we recommend Sabai Bar,little bit expensive on the drinks though. On the beach go right after sabay bar and you'll find this cute littlle place that rents out beach chairs with a small table for 60 bath. We loved it there but couldn't find it back on google so we don't have the name sorry.
Streetfood is awesome too. We LOVED Koh Chang and tuk tuk guest.
