We stayed for three nights in January 2014 which coincided with a spell of extremely cold weather. The room was delightful, the bathroom, yes, a little dilapidated but it is Burma. Breakfast was served in the open air restaurant; it was a test of endurance. We took an evening meal inside the building; food not bad at all and warmth kept in by nagging them to keep the door shut. However it was so cold it became difficult to sleep. Fully clothed and with all the bedding and more, it was freezing. The small fan heater was impotent. The room was not insulated, gaps in the walls etc etc.
But it is a lovely hotel, and very convenient for the gardensMore
