Anyone interested in An ashram in Rishikesh needs to stop here. It is an authentically spiritual traditional ashram that is very western friendly – a variety of cleanreasonably priced rooms with showers and western toiletsA clear program of activities, good classes, courteous and professional management

Its just one of those places which you have in your list of places to visit since there are not many places out there to visit with lots of quotes in sanskrit inscribed on the walls
the entrance is filled with stores selling you stuff

I had the experience to participate on the Aarti cerimony and also offer flowers to Mother Ganges. Loved it all!

The energy and vibe of this place is magical. Really magical. I loved the Ganga Aarti, but also just being in the presence of the swamis and feeling so at peace. Satsungs were always a pleasure. I love it here, wish they had open rooms when I was there so I could stay. If you want to stay here, book in advance.

I did not stay here in June '18 since it was full. But I visited it. It is a great setting, the ASHRAM and the Ganga aarti is unique with mesmerizing bhajans - especially the Hanuman Chalisa, on the banks of Gange gives a wonderful experience. Good vegetarian food in the canteen. The Rishi kumars have the food amidst chanting of the shlokas.

The is a must see place and cannot be missed on a Rishikesh visit. The evening Ganga Aarthi is really spiritually uplifting. The Shiva statue in the Ganga river is an awesome sight, and couldn't resist a picture with Lord Shiva in the background.

We stayed here for two days and had a lovely time here. This place is oh so serene and beautiful. The evening arti makes it even better. Its easily accessible place and has many eateries and ahops just outside the campus.

I respect the spiritual journeys undertaken by thousands who come here but I cannot bring myself to feel in any way moved by spirituality. The odd sermons I heard felt more like mindless ravings. I do not recommend staying or visiting. Their evening Aarti is nonsensical as the brass utensil carrying flames are tossed around carelessly. An accident waiting to happen!
