Really good place, great owner and great team. Kalam will make his best to make your stay unforgettable. Nice room, awesome food. A place not to be missed, peacefull in busy Rishikesh. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but stayed 6 nights at the end! Good energies there, for sure!

The hotel is situated a bit away from the 'centre' of the town. Still walking distance, like 5 to 10 minutes to the bridge. This makes that is nice and quiet during the day and evening.
The food served in the restaurant is good, except that the rooftop did not really have a restaurant feel to it. Just some chairs and tables but maybe that was just because it's not the high season now.
Our room on the ground floor had good wifi reception. It did not work for one day, but that was due to supplier problems.
The rooms are next to the staircase, and if people are walking the stairs and talking you can hear it in your room.

Room Tip: The room downstairs was quite cool and had the best wifi reception.

This was my fifth trip to Rishikesh, but it was the first time I was a guest at the Seventh Heaven. Was a wonderful surprise! I've never been so well received in this city. It is a very clean, a new building, with a great service. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and quiet. The staff and administration are great, very friendly and welcoming. The food is also very good, with a very clean kitchen and a chef very good and attentive. The owners, Kalam and Charlotte, became my friends and so I am very happy to have met them. I was staying there more than a month! Congratulations! René (Brazil)

Friends of mine insisted on making me walk further than the main street in search of accommodation. They promised me this place was worth it. That was an understatement! Seventh Heaven is an intimate, personal and charming boutique hotel amongst the largely impersonal and characterless accommodation that dot the Rishikesh landscape. The owner, Kalam Singh will go out of his way to make your stay a great one. (Once I had checked out and was going shopping, he offered a room for me to sleep and freshen up in the afternoon, before my train). The rooms are airy, full of light and beautifully done up. There's free Wifi and a little store selling lovely kurtis, yoga mats and textiles from Rajasthan and other places.

I'm dedicating a separate space for the food, which was, in the opinion of all of us who dined there, the best food in Rishikesh! The open air rooftop cafe opens early, and after a bit of sun worshipping yoga, we sat down to a really good breakfast and masala tea. The dinner is what really hits the spot though. I'm Indian and love a good home cooked north indian meal and Kailash's cooking was tops.

There are so many things to love about Seventh Heaven. But it's the warmth of the people-the owner Kalam, the staff-Mamta and Kailash, not to mention the gorgeous little puppy who has adopted them, that makes it a place to keep going back to.

We stayed here in March for 5 nights and after the craziness of Varansi, it was pure heaven. So clean, so peaceful and so friendly. Friendly Charlotte and Kalam go out of their way to make your stay very comfortable and are very willing to organize or help with any travel and local tourism arrangements. The location is perfect and the rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet, large and spotless with lovely views. The food is delicious and we think one of the best places to eat in Rishikesh both for Indian and international cuisine. Thank you for a great stay, Charlotte and Kalam, one of the most enjoyable and memorable places we stayed in India.

This is a wonderful place to stay in rishikesh, it really is a gem ! I was very happy with this little find. It's a small hotel about an 8 minute walk from the main part of rishikesh , which was nice. The rooms are all individually decorated and very nice. The food is lovely too. The service you get really is amazing though. The owners are so helpful and informative, just really good people. If and when I go back to rishikesh I will definitely stay here again. One of my favourite places I stayed in India,, this place and the tea bungalows in kochi.
