My daughter and I recently spent 3 nights at Seventh Heaven Inn, Rishikesh. Kalam and Charlotte made us very welcome. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with ensuite and a balcony where you could sit and relax. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged our pick up from the train station, our white water rafting and bungee jumping, gave us directions to local sights and arranged transport back to the train station in good time. You could always get chai or a cold drink and something to eat on the lovely rooftoop restaurant. The meals were very good and plentyful. Free wifi was a bonus. Very friendly hosts and staff. Seventh Heaven Inn was our sanctuary after a busy day enjoying Rishikesh. So glad that we found Seventh Heaven Inn. Would love to go back sometime. Thank you, Janice and Heidi

Even before our arrival in Rishikesh Kalam was helpful in directing our driver to Seventh Heaven Inn and on arrival Kalam and Charlotte were there to welcome us and show us around their gorgeous little place.
Our room was bright, spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view out to the mountains. We spent a lot of time up at the rooftop restaurant, in fact over our 5 day stay we ate dinner there every night as the food and company were so good!
Kalam really went out of his way to help us any way he could from suggestions of things to do, to booking a rafting trip, to even running to the shop on the first night to get cigarettes for us so that we wouldn't get lost!
We can highly recommend Seventh Heaven Inn to anyone travelling to Rishikesh and we were genuinely sad to leave as it really was a home away from home.

This is a marvellous place, small but perfect! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming that staying here is a real pleasure. Everything is so clean and very comfortable, with soft sheets and an airy room, including an excellent en-suite bathroom and a balcony. There was really good and varied food (Indian and western) too. It's pretty well situated in a quiet area and perfect for exploring Rishikesh. The views from the roof restaurant are wonderful, too, made even better by the company of other guests. I felt really well looked after and will definitely book again; it's a gem.

This time coming to Rishikesh there was no doubt about where I was going to stay: Seventh Heaven.
I received a lovely welcome from owners and staff and it felt like coming home!
I stayed in the same room on the first floor which is spacious and very comfortable, but in the meantime I have peeped into several of the other rooms and they are all attractively decorated, light and have all comforts and conveniences.
The nice thing about the roof restaurant is that when it is warm and pleasant, you can sit outside and enjoy the views over the mountains and the Ganges valley, and when it is cooler there is a small restaurant room which is cosy and protected from the wind. Up here you are likely to meet the other guests to exchange stories and advice while relaxing over your meal. The food was once again delicious and carefully prepared.
I cannot think of any improvements and can only hope that Seventh Heaven will be there for a long time to come.
The owners have achieved that magical balance of excellence and intimacy which few hotels manage.

My wife and I spent a week at Seventh Heaven Inn while attending a yoga course in Ram Jhula.
From our perspective, the Inn was the perfect guest house in a residential part of Laxman Jhula. Welcoming hosts, friendly and helpful local staff, clean and comfortable rooms, functional bathrooms, free wifi 24/7, and well prepared simple vegetarian food. A car was organised to collect and drop us at the airports (Dehra Dun and Delhi) at a reasonable cost. We are very much in agreement with the majority of 5 star reviewers that this is a great place to stay. We didn't experience other guest house or hotel facilities in Laxman Jhula, so its hard to make any direct comparisons in terms of cost, cleanliness and facilities with other similarly bracketed accommodation. However, we felt it was value for money for our budget and most importantly a very safe, clean, helpful and peaceful haven to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh. We have looked at the recently posted negative reviews - if we and the other naive guests are 'gullible Western tourists', expecting Western standards of clean facilities, then so be it. We saw no trace of contempt or duplicity, so really don't understand these remarks. There were no problems with our booking, but we did reconfirm by email and phone, and discuss arrivals and departures in detail beforehand. All in all, a great experience and certainly somewhere we would stay again when visiting Rishikesh.
