It has a lovely view of the ganga river; can actually hear the river gurgling. Hot delicious Bhajjis on the terrace, swings on the balcony, early morning chiming of temple bells very helpful staff contribute to a soothing stay. Display of tariff in hotel lobby was surprising, but the discounts offered are good. Do ask for it. The approach road needs improvement.

Room Tip: Can ask for a discount on the room tariff

This is my second trip ti Rishikesh, but first stay in this hotel. Location is great, rooms are nice and spacious, but my experience was not great. The view towards the Ganges is beautiful! Buffet breakfast was weak.....When we checked in, they offered complimentary yoga from 7:00 to 8:00 am, which I decided to go the next morning: at 7:30 I stood up and left( there was another guest who left before I did) because the yoga instructor never arrived. Later that morning I mentioned what had happened at the front desk, and they said that the instructor was injured! They could have put up a notice at the yoga room as a consideration to passengers. Staff is not trained enough and slow.
I recommend the little shop across which has a very nice selection of cotton clothes at good prices.

Room Tip: Rooms with view to the Ganges River

We stayed here three nights. Staff was very helpful and extremely nice. Large fully equipped room with a balcony overlooking the Ganges. Five minutes walk from Laxman Jehula. Five minutes by rickshaw to Ram Jehula. Rich buffet breakfast. Adjacent cafe restaurant is clean and good.

This was beyond expectation stay. Starting from the meeting by very artistic looking grand manager who showed us great respect, ending with location, rooms, views, food, and little shop with great quality clothes.
If we talk about yoga practices, this is a one great location and place to be. The view is stunning, hotel is situated on the side of steep hill from top to the bottom of the hill toward the banks of Ganga. At this place Ganga makes its turn and the sound and the view is just great! There is yoga hall, area for Agni krias with several fire pots, also there is a great terrace where yoga seminars are held sometimes.
Our room in old wing was clean, nice and vast, had huge balcony and place for guests. The furniture was a bit old but decent anyway.
What I want to add is that breakfast is just as excellent as it gets in India, variety of fresh products and everything that you will find suitable for any person for breakfast. As for bakery that they have in hotel, I didn't like it I guess due to eggs substitute used for cooking, but I don't know for sure.
We also didn't have time to try their Ayurvedic services.

Have been visiting Rishikesh regularly since many years. Hotel options are a plenty suiting every budget, however, our first choice would always be Laxman Jhoola Divine Resort. In my opinion this hotel provides you with the best possible views - of the Ganges, the valley, the mountains around, and a very peaceful location. You could hear the murmuring of the Ganges flowing just at the base of the new launched wing. New wing has best of the suits and rooms available, though a little costly in comparison to other options, and we stayed in the older wing rooms. New spacious restaurant is also there in the new wing offering good food options. You can also sample some delicious bakery options inside the hotel, and give it a try for a soothing massage. Overall – a satisfying and rejuvenating experience.

Room Tip: If in the budget- go for new wing ones. In older wing, try to grab the first floor corner rooms.

On arrival we were garlanded and welcomed with a beautiful drink . The hotel is situated on the banks on the river Ganges . The resort / hotel has a restaurant on the premises . The breakfast available is vegetarian . The view from our bedroom window was stunning . It is close to Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula . To get there you walk through alleys before you get to the bridge which is Lakshman Jhula that takes you over the river Ganges into an area with shops on the sides before you get to the ashram . It is a long walk and the ashram area is huge so you have to do a lot of walking .Their are lots of temples and accomodation available for pilgrims . Food is also available a cookie shop , lots of shops selling saris , punjabis and hindu deities , river rafting expeditions are also available .

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the river Ganges .

The resort is located next to hilton rapid in river ganga which ensures your hear the sound of the river throughout the day. It offers a great view of the river. The rooms are big and well equipped. The old wing does not have an elevator so try to get a room in new wing if you are travelling with someone who cannot climb stairs. Restaurant also offers a good view and food is great. You may find it on slightly expensive side if you would compare to other restaurants in the vicinity. I also appreciate them for allowing us to check in early and checkout late. They could have given me a room upgrade since hotel was mostly vacant when we arrived, that could have been a cherry on the top. But nevertheless, we had a good vacation and shall stay their again if we go to Rishikesh.
